I have nothing but praise for this hotel. Everything was exquisite! The staff was amazing--from the front desk to the pool staff, to the waitstaff at both restaurants, to the concierge (who helped us with plans before we arrived). Our room was beautiful and the view (toward the river) is nice but not spectacular. The breakfast is extensive and was... More

This is a great hotel for either business or pleasure. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. Fell in love with the rainfall shower in the bathroom. The bar and restaurants are great. The pool areas is lovely and the gym and spa are well appointed. Buenos Aires is very big, but this location felt close to some great neighborhoods... More

We stayed twice during our Argentina and Antarctica travels, leaving luggage behind twice, leaving luggage behind each time until we returned to a wonderful lunch as we picked up our luggage on the way to EZE for our return flight. This hotel exceeds your expectations.

My husband and I stayed at this amazing hotel in January. Our hotel room was perfect as was the breakfast each day. We used the gym which is well equipped and the outdoor pool has excellent poolside service. The hotel is well located close to lovely restaurants and shops. All of the staff were brilliant, ultra efficient and so friendly.... More

If you want to see what a luxury hotel looks like, go to the Four Seasons in BA. It does not get any better. They excelled in every caterory, especially the concierege staff. They are 15s on a 10 point scale. Flawless. The housekeeper was just as impressive. She wrote me a personal note everyday thanking me for my gratuity.... More

Front desk could not be more accommodating and helpful. Nothing was too much to ask-- including helping with currency issues and sending an employee to purchase and deliver an important forgotten item from home.

My husband and i had a great stay here in January. The concierge service was excellent, arranging all sorts of excursions and helping us find things. The restaurant downstairs is fine, but the staff was great, sending up ginger and lemon tea to my room unasked for when they saw I was sick.

The hotel was recently renovated and is in A+ condition. It is in a great location in Recoleta near many attractions, restaurants and pleasant walks. Lobby is impressive and comfortable, pool area beautiful and comfortable in the heart of the city. Service was exceptional, including a special personal greeting from the manager. We had changed from the Grand and our... More

Located at the popular Recoleta district this hotel is amazing. Extremely beautiful with a mix of comtemporary and conservative argentinian .Don't forget to look at the chandeliers! It has a main building where most of the rooms and suites are located ,very modern style and then the Mansion! This colonial building was built as a wedding gift to Elena Unzué... More

Staying in Retiro

Neighborhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighborhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
