Recently stayed in Kempinski, a.k.a. "Garbage Inn" by my colleagues. The hotel is extremely dated and, not only that, counts on unprepared and unfriendly staff. Some highlights: a) The elevator is from the days of Evita. Believe it or not, the doors do not close automatically. b) The rooms are smelly. I had to switch rooms with my boss, 'cause... more

Be advised that, upon arrival, there is a great probability of them moving you to another hotel of the chain, relatively far away from the one you actually booked. No refunds offered!! We will never take the risk again... more

The hotel is situated in a fairly good location with an easy walk to Av Santa Fe. The decor leaves an imprint in your memory with grandiose chairs and a stark black and white lobby your first and final images of the hotel. We had a good 5 day stay which meant that the included breakfast got a bit boring... more

My husband and I stayed at this location for seven nights and were pleasantly surprised by our experience, considering what we have read on this website. The hotel staff is very helpful and do their best to accomodate you in any way that they can (for example, with extra towels, rooms with more light, etc...). They are also quite helpful... more

I was planning to stay at this hotel for 3 nights, but I decided to leave and stayed just one. Before I start writing, I have to say that it was my fault to choose such a classical, reinascentist-like hotel when my style is more minimalist and modern. Said so, I comment the following: PROS: - location: in the middle... more

I arrived at the hotel after a long heavy journey and was immediately welcomed by the staff. They were very polite and very helpful indeed. The room was amazing, a little kitsch but in a good way. The Chez lounge was a nice touch along with the in room Spa bath. The cleaning staff were very attentive and I found... more

Our stay was from Nov 19th to Nov 24th. Many people are critical of this hotel but I can't understand why. This is not the Four Seasons and I knew that going in, coupled with the fact the Park Chateau is a boutique hotel which adds to its charm. We found the service to be first rate and the price... more

I am rarely compelled to write a comment on a travel experience but this hotel is so far below the Kempinski standard that I must warn others before making the same mistake. On arrival the small lobby was filled with patrons and their luggage waiting to be checked in. No early check in was available that day, possibly owing to... more

My family and I stayed there for our first visit to Buenos Aires. We were able to get in the room early upon arrival and they were helpful in selecting the correct rooms for our famiy ( allowed us to look at them before giving us our room assignment). Some of the staff was helpful but some were uncoooperative and... more

This hotel was very different from what I usually do, large. The place is small but it was clean. When I say small, the eleveator had a max load of 3 people. The room was a decent size with a queen size bed. Bathroom was small but had everything, even a bidet. Showers had a lot of hot water, no... more
