We made a reservation at the Unique Hotel Central based on the OK recommendations and the pictures. After arriving they informed us that due to plumbing problems in the hotel they were sending us to another of their hotels "close by". We ended up not in the central area, but in barrio Norte. The hotel we were sent to on... More

Fairly nice hotel with good service. The breakfast was fine and the hotel was clean. The location is very good, right in the middle of BA with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. I will stay there again next time I go to BA.

Location is good but do mot get over excited about been few steps away from the obelisc. Central location but it doesn't feel safe at night. The hotel is way too tired. They have made an effort to modernise the rooms but don't be missleaded by the pics. Rooms a relatively clean but bathroom looks old and not well taken... More

Unique Central is a good hotel if you will spend few days in Buenos Aires. It is located near the most important historical places those you can visit easily by foot or by "bus turistico". The rooms are clean and comfortable, the living room and the breakfatst area are beaultiful. The hotel offers a simple, but very good breakfast. The... More

We stayed for 2 nights and arrived after a very long overnight flight. The staff were very helpful and we were able to get into our rooms earlier than the usual check in time. The room was clean although the bathroom could have done with a bit of updating. Our room faced the front but we were not bothered by... More

The rooms are very nice and comfortable and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the location makes this a VERY noisy place which the hotel has no control over. There was a protest one morning just outside the hotel that lasted for 4+ hours that seemed almost louder in the room. As with all places in a large city - use... More

The hotel is centrally located - excellent for touring central Buenos Aires on foot. Its on a pedestrian street so not as noisy as you might expect in the heart of the city, but still noisy if your room faces the front. There's also some rumbling from the subway trains passing under the hotel periodically (probably not so much on... More

I only stayed one night but I thought the location of the Hotel was perfect for walking to all the tourist attractions of Buenos Aires.. you are literally right next to the Obilisque just off of ave 9 Julio. The Hotel itself was average.. it was clean and comfortable but like other reviews have stated.. the bathrooms could use an... More

Location is great, you are one block away "obelisco", near a couple of "subte" stations. Rooms look great, but after a couple of night you see Air conditioner doesn't work, and the shower has leak. In general it is ok; the only thing that is terrible is the service. The people at the front desk are rude; you have to beg... More

The room looked very very nice. Elegant, facing the square, right at the Obelisco. However, the service was really bad! Hardly anyone spoke English. It was a pain to ask a simple thing! If you request for anything, they would ask you to come down to the reception. The internet speed was also pathetic. Worse than a dialup speed! The... More
