The best location at Recoleta, near touristic points, as the Museo de Bellas Artes, Palecio de Cristal, panteón Recoleta, where you can easily get just walking 10 minutes away. Surrounded by prety coffee shops, tea rooms, restaurants an a big Shoping mall, this hotel combines, vintage decorated confortable rooms, with a delicious brakefast at fair prices.

Fairly good location and delightful lobby with lovely old elevators but from there on everything is very tired and in need of decorating and refurb. The towels and sheets were very worn.Rooms were clean and of a good size but noisy due to poor fitting doors and thin walls noisy outside too! Reception staff were helpful and spoke good English and... More

This hotel looks very impressive. When you get to your room there is a wow factor at first impression but when you look a little closer then the finishing lets the place down. The Bathroom looked luxurious and the shower was indeed very much appreciated as there was a great powerful flow of water. The water power flow for the... More

This good thing about this hotel is the location other than that .... The two men at the front desk were helpful the woman you could say was surly. Free wi-fi in the lobby but pay in the room what are we in 2005. The hotel is a boutique hotel you could say it is kind of shabby chic run... More

Substandard hotel in good location, this area of Buenos Aires felt quite safe. The metro (subte) is a 10-15 minute walk. Close to a good mall about a block north of the hotel with a good food court. The room itself was decently outfitted but it could have been cleaner. The bathroom was in need of an upgrade, the shower... More

After a swift check-in I found an enormous cockrache in the bathtub, knowing this may happen inside very old buildings I reported it to the management and they immediatly cleaned the room. Later that night I returned from dinner at midnight I went into bed only to find that it was populated by small insects that bite me on the... More

We arrived late only to find the doorman who could not check us in. We waited a long time for someone with authority to arrive. He then told us there was no room since there was no electricity? This was a lie. Others went to their rooms during the time we were waiting. I looked upstairs. The lights were on... More

If you are looking for a good location and all that maters is your room, this is the place to go. Clean, quiet, friendly staff, comfortable beds, a little decadent, but hey, you're in Buenos Aires. Avenida Alvear is just around the corner and you are very close to a lot of great restaurants. For a real Recoleta coffe go... More

We stayed three nights in this hotel. The first impression was very good. The staff was friendly and we had no problems checking in early. They patiently helped us later with our sight-seeing plans and transport to the airport (210 Pesos for 4 persons). The lobby looks a little old fashioned but friendly. We came from a cruise and had... More

Location couldn't be better. Easy walk to the sights of Recoletta, easy cabs to Palermo and central city. Elevators are teeny, but that didn't bother us at all. I saw several rooms - all generously large and spotless. Bedroom quiet, bed very comfortable. Breakfast of ham, eggs, cheese, good coffee was much nicer than I expected. Staff could not have... More
