The hotel is close to major attractions. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the included breakfast buffet is good. What was a pleasant surprise, was the pool area with an open roof. Very relaxing. I believe the wifi was only offered in the public areas i.e. lounge and front desk. It worked well.

The hotel is located centrally so notable shopping areas are within walking distance. Our room was comfortable, clean and pleasant. It faced the front so we had a good view of the main street. The staff were helpful, welcoming and courteous. There was a wide spread for breakfast.

Kinda ordinary old hotel. Room are standard square blocks with not too outdated furniture. Very comfortable bed. No wash rags! I found this to be standard for other parts of south america. Also no laundry service on holidays/sundays. Didn't try the hotel food but did enjoy the lobby bar. Great service all night long for hotel guests. Great location for... More

Courteous, fast staff. Everything fully functioning in rooms. Good mattress, slept like a log! Nice clean decor. Lovely swimming pool with a sky roof that is open during the day. Extra attention to detail: water flavoured with fresh fruit at gym/ pool area, fruit and beautiful pool/patio furniture to relax after pool /gym. Friendly staff always ready to assist you.

This hotel is in a great location, seemingly close to a number of notable streets and shopping enclaves. the physical facility feels run down, but the rooms and common spaces are clean. The pool on the roof is great, it had an open retractable roof and the constant sun warmed the pool nicely -- felt like tropical waters -- but... More

We stayed here three times in January 2016 and can mainly say that we had three great stays. The front desk staff was excellent (especially Ariel), genuine, and very accommodating. Got full recognition as SPG Plat. Breakfast in the Lounge was ok. The hotel hasnt been renovated for a good amount of time - so dont expect it to be... More

Sheraton Libertador is a wonderful property with tremendous amenities. I had a spacious suite which was roomy and comfortable with all amenities-- the views were superb. The help was informative and patient--- this location is walking distance to Florida Street and convenient to other areas. The other Sheraton is more of a business hotel and not near the stores and... More

The room and lobby were quite comfortable. The location, close to shopping, restaurants and the port was great. The problem we encountered was the lack of staff who were able or willing to communicate in English. Far too difficult for a hotel that deals with many tourists.

This is ideally placed & convenient for entertainment, shopping & most of the things you want to see in BA. It is a fairly soulless place & comprises tourists & business people. Staying in San Nicolas

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.
