My wife and I stayed at this hotel in May for 3 days. I would like to express my great appreciation to all front desk staff and especially Alexandra who helped us locating our relatives that live in Buenos Aries and whom we lost contacts decades ago. If this was not them we would never be able to find them.... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and did not want to leave. The hotel has been beautifully renovated after it was almost torn down. The rooms are clean, quiet and tastefully decorated.. You will enjoy the artwork and pictures scattered throughout the building. The staff was helpful and courteous and gave us great recommendations on where to eat and what... More

Great location, good value rooms but the add-ons are a bit on the high side. For example coffees, lunch etc are very expensive. Fabulous decor and facilities. Very nice staff and helpful. Had to pay for drinking water in the room.... No full length mirror in the room which was very odd. Quite dark bedrooms too. But great space in... More

We stayed only one night in this hotel and wish we can stay more days!. It is absolutely marvelous hotel and centrally located. We cannot find any bad thing about this hotel and amaze their decors. The front deck staff especially Lokus is very helpful that he arranged a wonderful Tango show with ride and drink for us and give... More

Very close to the metro (3 blocks) and lots of reasonably priced little cafes perfect for breakfast. Good thing since the hotel was way overpriced! I ended up getting a decent rate for the hotel on Hotels.com for the actual room, but was dismayed to find them charging $11 USD for a 1L bottle of water in the room. A drink... More

We stayed in an executive room, which was a very comfortable, large, king room, though not as quiet as hoped due to noisy neighbors. Some reviewers complained about the neighborhood, but I liked it. In Congresso, it was very close to the government buildings, and a short walk to Av. Corrientes, which has a ton of restaurants, theatres, bookstores, shopping,... More

We spent five nights at the Savoy and had an exceptional and quiet room. Our room was conveniently located, had all the comforts we expected, was extremely clean and well-maintained. The breakfast selections were extensive. On Easter morning we were even served Mimosas. Best of all, everyone serving us at the hotel, especially the concierges, were most helpful, obliging, and... Very nice hotel in the city centre (near Congress). Old building with old time charme. The bar it's in the main room wich is the heart of the hotel. The rooms are good and modern. Good bathroom. The breakfast has a lot of choice. The reception and porters are really great and a big help. The only downside is that... More

A grand old building which was obviously once a landmark in this city, but I feel it lets itself down in a number of ways. Others have noted to cost of in house items (eg water) and this was the only hotel in three weeks in south America where I had to pay for Wi-Fi. Had been planning to use... More
