Our room was adequate in size and reasonably clean (bathroom tiles could do with a scrub) Comfortable large bed. Bit of a problem getting curtains to cover French Doors for privacy but overall we enjoyed staying there. Good location in terms of catching metro (3 blocks away) and taxis frequently passed the hotel. There are restaurants literally around the corner... More

My room was large, clean with reasonably good amenities. We stayed as part of a small tour group. The staff were very accommodating. Breakfast adequate. Entry to room was via glass French doors, others could see in, so I had to ensure curtains were closed, which limited light.

My top priority in a hotel is the architectural ambiance. This one wins hands down. The hotel is based on rooms around beautiful open courtyards. Our room faced one with a small fountain and pool. It felt open, light and airy, but was quiet. There are many, many seating areas indoors and out, so you feel like you have lots... More

Good location in San Telmo. Wide variety in rooms from large to small. We had a large room facing Chacabuco. The room was great (tub even had a jacuzzi), but the street noise from Chacabuco is a problem. There is no noise between rooms. On the cusp between seasons, A/C can be a problem. Breakfast is nice continental. The staff... More

The hotel itself is a great gem, amazing art work displayed outside a nice boutique hotel. It is opposite La Puerta Roja and minutes away from Defensa for the Sunday market. However the staff lacked. They weren't very responsive, rarely have I been somewhere where the staff on the desk don't provide a full low down of what to do... More

It's a cute hotel, with great decor & warm/helpful staff. It's in a good neighbourhood that's easy to get around. The breakfast was yummy with a good variety. The only downside is that the room I had (downstairs facing the internal courtyard) was tiny as a twin share. We could hardly each store our luggage or walk around the bed... More

Great location in San Telmo. We always stay in San Telmo but this was our first time at Patios de San Telmo. We booked the larger room that faced inside. We were at the back of the hotel so it was really quiet. The room was fine. The photos suggest it's a bit more modern and in better condition than... More

Upon arriving in the area, you think you are in for a run down place, but looks are deceiving. The neighbourhood is lively and the hotel is fantastic. The court yards are beautiful and the rooms, while slightly small are clean and comfortable. I would fully recommend staying here.

We stayed here for 6 nights at approx USD $70/night and the hotel exceeded expectations. If you want grandiose rooms, a very fancy neighborhood, and staff to wait on you hand and foot, this hotel isn't for you; and to be honest, 98% of the hotels in BAs aren't for you. This hotel is in a great, historical, and gritty... More

Patios de San Telmo is lovely hotel with a great location. You can easily walk to many destinations and to transportation in Plaza de Mayo. Service was great and staff was friendly. The rooms are very small but clean. What makes this hotel lovely is the patios and outdoor space. There are plenty of chairs and tables to enjoy some... More
