This hotel was very clean, had great breakfast and very helpful staff. there are some great little bars and restaurants close by. it was a bit of a hike to the city, which we ended using cabs for. Overall a good experience

This is a great hotel and superb value in San Telmo, the historic district of Buenos Aires. The hotel is of a unique high-spec design, with central courtyards & patios, and a host of quirky art and features. In a great location, it's in easy walking distance to a number of bars & restaurants (check out Gran Parilla del Plata... More

I stayed here with my husband on our honeymoon, as part of a South America trip, and we were really happy with our choice. It was our first time in Buenos Aires, and we felt like we had a friendly and secure base for our stay. The room was very nice, compact but comfortable and there is a lovely communual... More

The location is very good. The Staff is always very nice, kind and always try to help you. There are several restaurants close to the Hotel and the best way is to ask at the Reception: every time they give us very useful information. The Common Area are very nice and original inspired to Argentina’s Architecture . It’s better the... More

I liked the lady out of this hotel with courtyards you could relax in. .Room was clean, and comfortable. French doors open to courtyard. Rooftop pool, small but adequate. Decent breakfast included. Free wifi. Small cage for lunch, but not open for dinner. As a single female, preferred to use a cab in the evening. Couple hostels on that block,... More

We stayed at Patio de San Telmo for 4 days because we wanted to be in the bohemian part of Buenos Aires. The hotel has obviously been decorated with style and love and this is also reflected in the ambiance of the rooms as well as the architecture and the placing of the furniture. There are large french doors that... More

Stayed here for 2 nights when we first arrived in BA. The place itself is very pretty, very old Argentine style. The front desk people were always nice and friendly. The hotel was quiet and the walls were pretty much soundproof, even during the democracy celebrations. The bed was comfy, the room ok size wise. The pool looked nice, but... More

My husband and I spent our first 3 nights in Argentina at this hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly, the included breakfast was great, and there was lots to see and explore within walking distance. The hotel is a converted tenement, and we loved the historic and artsy feel. Our only issue was how hot the rooms were, and... More

This place is superb! San Telmo is the bohemian heart of BA with great restaurants (Parilla Del Plato & La Brigada), bars (Puerto Rojo) and bakers serving tasty & cheap empanadas within 5 minutes walk. The hotel is set around a couple of central patios and it's lovely and quiet despite the action that is just outside the front door.... More

I cannot understand the positive reviews for this place. We were in room 112 and it was disgusting! The bathroom floors were so grimy we didn't even feel comfortable using the showers in the hotel. Hotel towels were very dingy; bedding was very rough; very little light in the room at all - probably to disguise this place. Hotel conceirge... More
