The Hotel Sileo was our base for an entire week. Allow me to echo some of the prior reviews. The Sileo is a well run, clean, perfectly located, and a most comfortable hotel. My wife and I stayed in the pent house suite (801) and were amazed at the size, set up, and incredible view from the outdoor balcony that could... More

We spent 3 nights post cruise at this hotel. It is directly behind Recoleta Cemetery. The area is upscale and felt very safe. The hotel is very modern. Beautifully decorated. Interesting art gallery in the basement. The ninth floor has a small pool, two lounge chairs, a few chairs and tables, couple of exercise machines, and the best view of... More

We just spent 3 days and two nights here on a stopover through Mendoza. This is our third boutique hotel in Buenos Aires and it is a tremendous value considering the location in Recoleta, the size of the rooms and how quiet it was considering it's right in the middle of things. We had no problems with water, internet or... More

First, the area is great, right across from the cemetery. Great view from the higher floors. Good neighborhood. Staff were friendly and recommended/arranged tours. Breakfast was basic. Downside: one of our rooms (group of 5) had no internet working during our stay. The water stopped working in the morning, so one of us was unable to shower or use the... More

Stayed for two nights prior to heading off to Antarctica. I was pleasantly surprised at how large the rooms were. Enough for a small dining table and two chairs. Small kitchenette with dishes, cups/ glasses etc. Microwave and small 'fridge which were handy since we had leftovers. Very comfortable beds, friendly staff. We had a balcony(also good size) with a... More

We stayed in this hotel for best part of a week whilst attending a conference and were perfectly happy there though I would say it tends towards the basic rather than luxury category. Our room was spacious enough, clean and comfy and provided a good base for our trip. WiFi is free and seemed reliable. The hotel has quite a modern... More

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in December and the location was perfect! Right beside the popular cemetery and easy walk around the district. Always felt safe here even at night. Good bars and restaurants right nearby and other useful amenities. The place is modern and clean and every staff member we ever spoke with was friendly... More

I've stayed here several times for as little as one night and as much as a week. The location is perfect for visiting Recoleta, Barrio Norte & Palermo, nearby museums and the wonderful parks. Easy access to domestic airport (Jorge Newbery) and Retiro train & bus stations. The hotel itself is light and modern and the changing exhibitions are always... More

We stayed at this hotel March 31 thru April 4th. We loved this hotel and felt the location was ideal. Staying in Recoleta was really a fun experience. The staff was wonderfully helpful and so kind in arranging a great Tango show and directing us to good restaurants. They gave us good information for exchanging money close by at the... More

The view of the cemetery is fantastic. The hotel lobby and the rooms are modern, nice and clean. The hotel is in a good location and you can easily walk to nearby attractions, restaurants and bars. The service from the front desk workers was not good. Rude and not very helpful; when asked any questions, they do help but seem very... More
