THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL THAT I'VE EVER RESERVED!!! Last month,May 2015, I did a reservation by Booking.com in Hotel Entre Libros Hotel & Hostel in Buenos Aires,Argentina. When I got there they gave me a room that wasn't the one I reserved. The sheets of the bed where dirty. The curtains where dirty as well. The sink has some... More

Stayed here before I could enter my permanent place in Buenos Aires. Was a good stay, although there was no breakfast. I could've used a bit more space in the shower though. The bed was good and the location is superb. Overall a nice place to stay for not to much, however there are cheaper & better places to stay.

I was really surprised to arrive to Entre Libros after reading the reviews. Trip Advisor almost never lets me down. But this place was a total dump. In the pictures what they don't show are the dirty dingy bed spreads they lay on top of the crispy white sheets. (Pretty sure there was dried blood on one of them) The... More

This is a really nice place! The location is great, one of the most beautiful streets in San Telmo. As the name suggests, you're surrounded by books and I realy liked it :) Our room was beautifully decorated with comics and very clean. The staff are all cool young people who were very friendly and helped us out with everything.... More

Good rooms and common areas. "Book" theme cleverly intergrated through out. Very good breakfast. Single room relatively spacious. However not enough bathrooms and showers swamp the floor(of the bathroom). Loved the neighborhood. Two bar/cafes on the block I'd hang out in every day if I could. Like anywhere else in San Telmo it's a hike to the Subte.

we firstly booked 3 nights there and the hotel, the team and the location were so nice that we decided to stay another 4 nights. The rooms are nicely decorated, the place is very clean, the hotel is only 50m from calle defensa were you'll find an open market every sunday with all the handcarfts you'll need, bars and restaurants.... Staying in Montserrat

Neighborhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighborhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
