Unreal!!! We spent two nights here and I could not have been happier. Great location, amazing staff, unbelievable rooms at an unreal price. I woke up on the first night and scrambled downstairs to be sure I had not misread the price. We loved this hotel and there is an amazing parilla where the locals go for the best adobo... More

My partner and I stayed in a junior suite for 4 nights in June. The suite has the bed located on a mezzanine level with the bathroom and a couch, coffee table and TV located downstairs. The suite overall was very comfortable and clean and met all our needs during our stay. A few recommendations on our particular suite however... More

The hotel is very nice and charming, the rooms are extremely comfortable. It's also very well located. The weird part was when I went to the lounge area and there was an employee taking a nap and snoring!!!!!!!

I overcame my jet lag in an extremely comfortable, quiet room at this hotel. It's a great location near several small restaurants and only steps from the Sunday San Telmo Street Fair. The staff were extremely helpful in orienting me to Buenos Aires, including a front desk clerk who even loaned me his subway card to make a trip!! Breakfast... More

If your looking for a charming spot in one of BAs older barrios this could just be what you need. A delightful 12 room hotel that is better suited to adults than young families and is well located near some of the better known Parillas. Nicely appointed loft rooms, ours even had two bathrooms , comfy beds and a casual... More

The Suites are situated in two recently converted houses knocked into one building so the architecture is both classic and modern. The rooms are on two floors with a sitting area and bathroom on the lower with sleeping area and second bathroom above. If you struggle with stairs this could be a problem for you as the suites are also... More

I am really glad that we chose this hotel, the travel agent had suggested a hotel in the business/central district but we wanted an area with more character and read that the original hotel was in a graffit infested dirty street so we asked them to change us to San Telmo luxury suites. When the taxi dropped us off we... More

This is one of those establishments I'm afraid to review (highly) thinking that the power and popularity of high rating will enable them to up the pricing... Today great value, hopefully still when I return again, and I surely will. If you are bored with standard hotels, impersonal service, often lack of effort and attention to details, this is for... The staff was 100% amazing. They spoke great English, arranged reservations for us at restaurants we wanted to go to, provided a ride from the international airport (EZE) to the hotel our first day in Argentina for a set fare, that was 100% the way to do it! They communicated via email with us prior to our stay and were... More

We stayed here for New Year's Eve and couldn't have been more pleased with the room and service. The design of the hotel is absolutely beautiful and our room was huge with two bathrooms. About a fifteen minute walk from puerto madero, we were able to go out to dinner and celebrate NYE without any cabs and had a beautiful... More

Staying in Montserrat

Neighborhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighborhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
