There's nothing remarkable about this hotel. It's clean, comfortable. Our room was small, the bathroom larger than expected for the room size. Water was hot. We were here overnight while waiting to catch a flight. Staff was helpful. Not cute, not quaint, just a regular Howard Johnson which was fine for our needs. I wouldn't have stayed here if we... They have a ridiculous and unusual policy that children have to have their photo ID and parents should have proof that these are their children ( like if you were crossing the border!) so they didn't let usin for the one night and they will charge the bedrooms on the creditcard..

The hotel lobby is too small and theres only one person at the front desk so, check-in n out can take several minutes. No hairdryer in the room and pillows and bed covers were not clean. Overall is good quality but has its flaws.

I stayed here for over a week in October, 2015, and as others have noted there is construction going on in front of the building, but if your room is facing the back there is no noise problem. No real views from the windows, but you're not in Buenos Aires to sit in your hotel and look out the window,... More

The hotel was small, but clean and updated. A bit noisy if your room was near the street. The breakfast was very good. Fresh baked bread every morning was my favorite. The service was excellent. They were very helpful to me. I felt safe with the 24-hour security guard at the door.

The staff was very nice, the rooms are of good size and everything seemed to be new (we stayed in a king size), the room and the overall place was pretty clean, good breakfast. Lots of restaurants and bars a few blocks away. The location is not great, full of construction sites and garages, a bit noisy during the day... More

As I have stated in title, hotel is at good location, 5-10 minutes by foot to Palermo Hollywood bars and restaurants and 10-15 minutes to Palermo Soho day/night life. Rooms are nice, clean, new furniture, nice bathroom. There is no view (you can choose backyard view, which I recommend - quite) or street view, which i don’t recommend due to... More

I stayed at this hotel in October. The staff were *very* helpful and kind. The breakfast, included in the price, is really good and plenty. Fun happy hour scene there, too. I would definitely recommend this place.

The Howard Johnson Inn Palermo is very clean and modern, but there are better options in Palermo for the price. The location is on the fringe of Palermo on the busy Niceto Vega. A few blocks to the east there are a number of modern hotels with more amenities closer to the good restaurants and bars.

Very comfortable rooms . Not too large but well diesigned and furnitured . Location perfect for day taxi trip to work places and ( bit long ) night walk to Palermo . Accueil should be improved . Friendly , young but bit unexperienced people . " Positive Experience "

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
