The staff was very nice, the rooms are of good size and everything seemed to be new (we stayed in a king size), the room and the overall place was pretty clean, good breakfast. Lots of restaurants and bars a few blocks away. The location is not great, full of construction sites and garages, a bit noisy during the day... More

As I have stated in title, hotel is at good location, 5-10 minutes by foot to Palermo Hollywood bars and restaurants and 10-15 minutes to Palermo Soho day/night life. Rooms are nice, clean, new furniture, nice bathroom. There is no view (you can choose backyard view, which I recommend - quite) or street view, which i don’t recommend due to... More

I stayed at this hotel in October. The staff were *very* helpful and kind. The breakfast, included in the price, is really good and plenty. Fun happy hour scene there, too. I would definitely recommend this place.

The Howard Johnson Inn Palermo is very clean and modern, but there are better options in Palermo for the price. The location is on the fringe of Palermo on the busy Niceto Vega. A few blocks to the east there are a number of modern hotels with more amenities closer to the good restaurants and bars.

Very comfortable rooms . Not too large but well diesigned and furnitured . Location perfect for day taxi trip to work places and ( bit long ) night walk to Palermo . Accueil should be improved . Friendly , young but bit unexperienced people . " Positive Experience "

My cousin and Istayed here during the second week of January of 2013. It's a great clean hotel, I was very impressed with it. It's not your regular "HOJO" that we have in the U.S. the location of this property is great within walking distance from everything in the neighborhood of Palermo. I was really impressed with the staff, the... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel just one night, as we needed a last minute sleepover place in Palermo. We got an excellent deal on booking.com and were very pleasantly surprised When we arrived. The girl at the reception was very professional AND very friendly. The room was in a business style, with a big comfortale bed (we... More

The hotel has been built very recently and therefore the facilities are in perfect order. Rooms are functional and showers are great. The staff is extremely friendly, competent and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Their support was unending: finding good restaurants, cheap outlets for high-class brands, things to do during the day... The cost-benefit relationship is very favorable.... More

The hotel is very good but its located in an ugly neighbourhood, long walk to the fancy places in Palermo. It didnt feel secure at night. We took a cab from Ezeiza, flat rate. Just walk out from the luggage picking area. U$50. Checking in and out fast and easy, all the people we met at the front desk were... More

Located in the heart of Palermo Hollywood and just a few blocks from Palermo Soho, the brand new hotel, inaugurated in 2012, is an excellent option in the area. Close to cafes, bars, restaurants and just a 15-minute walking from the subway station and a block away from the bus stop. Don't judge the hotel by the tiny size of... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
