Nice hostel to stay in buenos aires. Rooms are ok with a comfortable bed. The hostel is very clean including toilets and shower. You can use the kitchen if you want. The staff is kind and will answer your question. Breakfast is included and nice with a homemade cake. The hostel is situated in the heart of San telmo, that... More

Stayed here for only one night with my boyfriend before catching a flight to Patagonia and felt like we were staying in a hotel! Rooms and bathrooms were exceptionally clean and spacious. Our bedroom also had a nice balcony to sit on. Breakfast was delicious with a homemade tart included in the options and the staff were extremely helpful and... More

This is by far the cleanest hostel I have come across in my travels. The older gentlemen who owns it is meticulous and ensures that the hostel is always clean and tidy (a huge plus in hostels). The owner does not speak any English, but we were able to communicate through broken Spanish or Google translator. All staff members are... More

I stayed here for a week. It is a great value place, very comfortable and fabulous location - in San Telmo and next to one of the main underground stops (Independencia). The breakfast is nice, they bake cakes every morning! MOST OF ALL the staff are really lovely, I actually felt sad to go! Right from the housekeeping staff, to... More

I felt so lucky to have found this place. My six night stay there was fantastic. It’s tough to find a nice, mid-range price hotel in San Telmo. I wound up at the Galeon after having two horrible nights at the Ayre Portenos, which was a flop house for teens. I immediately liked the Galeon. The staff were incredibly nice... More

I stayed at this hostel for many days in december 2011 and also in jan- feb 2012. It is a classical town house tastefully renovated and modernised to form a hostel more like an hotel .Extremely clean throughout ,always hot water ,kitchen very handy, staff extremely helpful, security to a very high standard. As a solo traveller I found it homely... I booked this hostel very late and was very pleased to find a single room with air conditioning for a reasonable cost in BA. The hostel is in San Telmo and is about a 15-20 minute walk to the Casa Roasada but is well located for San Telmo restaurants and Sunday market. There is a metro station within 5 minutes... More

I first came across this hostel when a friend stayed there and I called in to visit - even though only visiting, I was offered coffee and breakfast. This, combined with the positive reviews, led me to book a stay there when I returned to Buenos Aires. I booked what was listed as a "superior single room". Upon my arrival... More
