We stayed here for five nights and were very impressed with the service. The front desk was very accommodating offering to help with voltage adapting issues on my hair straightner, giving us directions, offering restaurant recommendations and calling taxis. The hotel itself is very new and clean. Our rooms were pretty big, common to US hotel room sizes, definitely larger... More

Had a lovely two week stay at the Design Suites Hotel in Buenos Aires. Staff most pleasant, trustworthy and helpful. Better than just your average continental breakfast included in room costs: food, juices, coffee, fruit and plenty of breakfast desserts to start your day. Hotel room very clean, large, modern. Room has a small fridge that you can ask the... More

Service was good and breakfast was ok. We used the pool, even if it was summer, it is an nice indoor pool.... More

Arriving at the hotel hours before check-in time, but following an 18 hour bus ride, we were welcomed and allowed to use the showers in the spa area. Our luggage was then held at the reception area until our room was ready. All the staff we came in contact with were oustanding. The room, as well as the entire building,... More

We did a lot of research before selecting this hotel for our BA stay. Nice large rooms, good breakfast, very nice indoor pool area and friendly staff with good English help in the reception. You are in walking distance to most locations and the subway.

In Buenos Aires, near the Bombonera Stadium, this Hotel is an amazing experience for the soccer lovers. Very well decorated with pictures and uniforms of famous Argentinian players like Diego Maradona.

A modern and welcoming hotel in the center of the city. The hotel borders the centro/San Telmo neighborhoods. There is not a lot to see directly around the hotel ( very very few restaurants or attractions nearby). The front desk staff was helpful in arranging transportation, storing luggage and recommending restaurants. The hotel is a high rise with large, modern... More

Nice big comfy rooms, for the price it was worth it.. Location not that good, the surroundings a bit dirty, and alley few blocks away stinks, typical downtown. Got a bit dissapointed as breakfast at 7 to 10. Walk in breakfast hall around 650am, since I did not see anyone so I proceed to get my coffee and some cereal,... More

It was our first stay in South Americas and we were looking through many ratings on TripAdvisor. Regardless about some bad experiences people had, we choose this Hotel for our Transit stay before a Antarctica cruise. We arrived very early in the morning at the hotel and our rooms were not ready, what was also not expected or promised by... More

Clean and friendly. Well located. Walking distance to shopping and tourist attractions... must go to the stadium... Great rooms! Free wifi! Good prices!! City isn't what it used to be, a shame to be honest. DO NO WALK AND TEXT. Read and learn safety tips.

Staying in Montserrat

Neighborhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighborhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
