We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are cosy, the bathrooms are nice and clean. Mike and Elena were away when we stayed so Lore looked after us. Lore was lovely, gave us all the information we needed and then some. She recomended places for us to go, to eat, and even chated with us about... More

We love to stay in B and Bs when we travel as it gives us a chance to meet and get to know some "locals". We could not have made a better choice. Mike and Elena were so helpful and it was wonderful getting to know them. There were small but lovely touches such as chocolates on the pillows. The... More

Catered for right from the start with an organised cab ride from the airport. Even though we arrived very late, we were met at the door by the lovely Elena, who by the way can talk the ears off a donkey. Both Elena and Mike were attentive, accommodating and the perfect hosts. They were also very informative when it came... More

This small little place is really nicely done up with different names and colours for each room and they have a very personal touch with toffees by the bedside tables, helpful advice and instant research done for you any time you have a query they cannot answer themselves. Mike and Elena are a wonderful couple who run this amazing little... More

Whilst travelling south america we stayed at many nice hotels, hostels etc but this was a different class. You could put all the best points of each hotel together and it still would not be anywhere near as good as this beautiful hotel. first of all for the price you are not going to get anything a treat like this... It isn't easy to find a decent budget option in the CF. This one is just that. Mind you though that a 21% tourist tax is added to the price. Within walking distance of the Independencia metro stop in the Monserrat barrio, the location of the B&B is pretty good. While the neighborhood looked safe enough, it isn't the cleanest/poshest... We stayed here for a few nights over Christmas time last year. The rooms were impeccable (we got the green room, overlooking the indoor patio! Yay!) and the hosts Mike and Elena were so helpful with info of how to use the public transport, booking a tango show for us (amazing by the way!) and making us feel at home!

Elena was very warm and friendly. The house is charming and we loved the high ceilings. The location is a bit isolated from the trendier areas, but it is relatively close to the Sunday market. The one thing I'd suggest is to check the price of the hotel in Argentinian peso as they may not use the official exchange rate,... More

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in Feb 2014. This is certainly one of the best B&Bs that we have stayed. Mike and Elena are outstanding hosts and are very warm and charming people. The conversation with them was always interesting. The location, amenities, and breakfast are also excellent. We strongly recommend this B&B. Elena and Mike:... More
