it's a great location and has a nice rustic feel. But the 'superior' room we stayed in overlooked a road which hosted honking cars and Friday night drinkers until 6 am. At about 3 am, having given up on any chance of sleep (and I normally sleep easily), I took a trip downstairs to ask if there was any chance... More

We had the misfortune of staying in what had been described as a 'Superior Room'. Situated next to the Avenida Thames and above the breakfast room to the hotel it was not possible to get a decent night's sleep. 'Noisy' does not even begin to describe the levels of disturbance we endured while guests. Further, we were not entirely sure... More

Stayed in this hotel for a couple of days sightseeing on my own prior to joining a tour of Patagonia. Very well located for solo sightseeing - a walk to the Metro station to get anywhere in the City and lots of lovely shops bars and restaurants within a short walk which made evenings really easy - the area also... Visited on business and was very happy with the hotel, which was in a perfect location for the little boutique shops which open really late so you can take a nighttime stroll around the area and shop, or visit one of the buzzing squares for funky bars and lovely restaurants. Our room was damp and mouldy in some places but... More

Overall, I couldn't believe how nice this hotel was for the money I paid. It didn't get off to a great start arriving late at night, because the hotel is a bit too trendy to have a sign, the only place the name is visible is in the the faintest transparent white frosting on the windows, which isn't exactly visible... We stayed in a Palermo at the beginning and end of our three week trip. We had been slightly disappointed with the first hotel, so thought we'd try a different place for the last two nights of our trip and were delighted by Hotel Palermo. Simple, but lovely and very clean room with brand new bathroom fixtures. Lovely garden to... More

I stayed here twice, in between my trip up to Iguazu, and have no complaints other than the breakfast was disappointing. The room was a decent size, with all the usual amenities except for a mini-bar, which I don't find essential anyway. You're given two free small bottles of water on arrival too. The Palermo area is very pleasant, with... More

Generally a bit disappointing after initially thinking it would be good . Very poor breakfast , wifi only worked in some rooms - aircon in room 19 wasn't fixed three days after mentioning it - and whilst some staff were charming , for others everything seemed a big effort - eg asking for a cup of tea in my room... This 20-something room boutique hotel looks and feels like Provence, but is a block from Plaza Serrano in Palermo Soho. Palermo Soho and the nearby Palermo Hollywood are like being in the West Village in Manhattan, a real sense of buzz but all in Spanish. Really great area. Our third-floor garden room with a small balcony overlooked the pool and... More
