Lovely hotel, more like a studio condominium. Equipped with a kitchenette if you want to stay in and make yourself a meal. Close to a main thoroughfare that is convenient for shopping, eating, taking the subte (subway), taxis are a dime a dozen, and the train. They serve cold breakfasts, and plenty of it. They have a nice patio and... More

This is a lovely charming boutique hotel located in the Belgrano district which is where the family we were visiting live. We had stayed at two other local hotels and chose this one to return to in spite of Ricardo, the prickly unfriendly less that helpful manager. Lonely Planet had encouraged us to negotiate a cash price and as were... More

My mum and I stayed here for a week and we couldn't have been happier. The room was clean, the service and breakfast was excellent but most of all maximilliano the concierge guided us in all our needs. So professional and kind that we are planning on returning next year.

Staying at this hotel, I felt more like a local than a tourist. It is in a residential area of the city, and there are many good shops and restaurants nearby. It is also just a couple blocks from the subway train, which gets you to the business/tourist area in 20-30 minutes. Our room was spacious and had a kitchenette... More

Stayed for a couple of days in a business trip. Gladly surprised by spacious rooms with all services included, super clean and with outstanding free wifi. Well located at walking distance from main avenues and elegant Belgrano capital district. Only two downsides. No restaurant, only quick breakfast and be careful with main entrance door! it is usually closed and if... More

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable and the bed was really good. I had the top room, so I had a little terrace with a table and chairs. Very nice at night. The hotel has a very convenient location, you can walk around the area, at any time of the day or even... More

Excellent location, close to buses and subte. Walking distance fron the train stations as well. Especially the dates of my stay (subte strike August 8 - 18, 2012) the train ride from El Retiro Station to Belgrano Station was 10 minutes away ($1.5 Argentinian pesos), then from the train station to hotel like 15 minutes walk. At least it was... More

My wife and I stayed there twice in the month of May. It is located in Belgrano, which is a little far away from downtown and the other major turistic areas. On the other hand, we realized that you will have to take a cab pretty much anyway. (If you do not mind, you can take the subway very close).... More

New, clean and modern hotel, located in Belgrano. A bit far from major tourist attractions, but in a very nice neighborhood and close to major bus lines and subway stations. Very friendly staff. Huge, clean and very comfortable rooms, with a minibar and a cooktop in case you decide to eat in. Traditional argentinian breakfast with "medialunas", some fruit, tea,... More

My daughter and I stayed here in February 2012 and really enjoyed the helpful and welcoming atmosphere of this apart-hotel. A great location in Belgrano (neither city centre nor suburbs - but perfect barrion in between) near every required amenity, from food, to shops, to parks and markets, from buses to underground... Lovely modern building with balconies and a pool... More

Staying in Belgrano

Neighborhood Profile
Belgrano
As one of the main commercial hubs of Buenos Aires, Belgrano has something for everyone. The myriad of shop windows in Cabildo Ave. will draw you in, but it is Chinatown — an area of no more than two square blocks — which will keep you hooked. Crowned by an ornate arch marking its entrance and filled with small stores packed to the brim, it is a place where color and scent emanate from every corner, particularly during the Chinese New Year when they spill over to surrounding areas. But if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, the residential quarter of Belgrano is the perfect destination. This section of town features some of the most magnificent mansions in the city, spread out on cobbled streets lined by tall, majestic trees: a true feast for the eyes.
