Mio Buenos Aires is a charming boutique 30-room hotel that’s perfectly situated walking distance from the parks, museums and Recoleta Cemetery (a favorite spot). Its modern design with contemporary furnishings is beautifully done and the rooms with large wood bathtubs are over-the-top gorgeous. The rooms are generously sized and we had a spectacular private balcony where we enjoyed sunsets before... More

We spent last weekend of may at this nice hotel at a suite with a terrace which is gorgeous specially on summer time, cause the terrace has 30 square mts. with a large jacuzzi and chairs for taking sunbaths. I did miss the calden wood bathtub that is promoted on everywhere but it is not appointed for this type of... More

Felt like we were in a corner of Paris coming to Hotel Mio. The location is unbeatable. English is fluently spoken and understood. We stayed in the top floor apartment looking over the main avenue. What a view and the room was superb. There were some maintenance and minor housekeeping issues which we brought to the attention of the hotel.... More

Beautiful hotel and wonderful customer-service. I had the opportunity of staying at this fantastic hotel on business from 17/5/15 - 21/5/15 in room 501 and the experience could not have been better. This was my second trip to Buenos Aires in the last six months. unfortunately the first time I made the mistake of staying at a different hotel- Melia... More

I went to Buenos Aires without having a recommendation for a hotel. I found the Hotel Mio online and from photos and some reviews, I booked and said my prayers.... The neighborhood is a posh but mellow section of Buenos Aires, with cafes, restaurants, and shopping. The location was less than two blocks from the Recoleta Cemetery and church, and... More

Just at 5 minutes by foot of the Recoleta garden and church, you will find a discret but very charming hotel; Mio, excellent deco and design made of wood and noble materials, the room was big, very well lighted, with a particularly well thought organization: shower and separate restroom + a bath in the center of the room, strange but... We stayed at Mio at the end of our two week trip around Argentina. The hotel is extremely stylish and serene, with a modern minimalistic interior. The doors are crafted from wine barrels and each room has a feature bath carved out of a single piece of wood. We found the hotel when reading the Wallpaper City Guide to Buenos... More

We spent our wedding night and we had a great time. Everybody was kind and thoughtful. From the front desk to the spa assistant. Great service, comfortable rooms, excellet breakfast, everything was perfect.

I stayed here for one night in March 2015. Front desk staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English well. The room was large, modern decor, clean and comfortable. I was able to get a late checkout (paid extra) to be able to stay until I needed to leave for the airport for my evening flight home. Front desk secured a... More

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
