These apartments are beautiful. Each one has a balcony either overlooking the cool street or the gorgeous courtyard in the back. The rooftop is so private and beautiful with the lap pool and plenty of space to have alone time, do a little yoga, or soak up the sun. There is a workout room, steam room and sauna. Loved my... The room was spacious, quiet, clean and well equipped. The kitchen had fridge, cutlery, plates and microwave. The staff speaks English and is very helpful, they gave us a map of Buenos and answered all questions. Guests can also use gym on the 10th floor.

Apartment was exactly as represented, no more no less. No extra fees or charges. Super nice management. Hot tub not very hot or clean. Great pool and pool area, sauna, and gym. Loved the location and nearby restaurants, Melo and Rodi.

Front desk staff not helpful and a bit rude. They don't care to solve your problems with the accommodation. Been in two different apartments and none of them was fully equipped as described. One of the apartments wasn't well cleaned when we get in, and they refuse to make a better job after we complain. The location is good and... More

This is more a residential hotel located right in the heart of upscale RECOLETA neighborhood, close to main shopping streets, subway, and Recoleta's cemetery and cultural center. Easy access to all areas, plenty of good restaurants around. The Hotel doesn't offer room service and the cleaning is made once or twice a week, but the room is great, with a... More

On all of our six trips to BA since May 2013 up to May this year, my partner and I have stayed at IQ Callao. During the past year we have experienced the place slowly deteriorate which is quite unfortunate as it is in a good location and used to be good value for money. Some examples: - Room cleaning... Let's start with the positives. 1) The facility is in a great location 2) the decor is nice and the lobby, elevators, and apartment are very clean 3) the bed is reasonably comfortable. However, the internet connectivity and wifi network are a disaster. Good luck getting connected. Over the week, it has varied from no wifi, to no interconnection to... More

This place is relatively cheap however not as good as it could be. The room I stayed in only had one power point (that I could see) so I could only plug in one item at a time. It was not located near the bed so it was quite inconvenient. Also you need the room card to use electricity so... More

My daughter-in-law and I wanted a place where we could cook some of our own meals, relax by the pool and walk to great shopping. IQ Callao met all these and more. Clean and comfortable with friendly managers and staff, we felt right at home here. And it is one of the most economical accommodations in BA. And we felt... More

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
