I could not recommend this place more. Ada & Valentyn are fantastic hosts, the accommodation is beautiful and spotless and the location is great for exploring the city. Ada & Valentyn go out of their way to help you orientate yourself in the city and give very helpful advice. I even had tango lessons, a lot of fun!

We stayed at La Perla in May 2015 for three nights. Valentyn proved to be a charming and helpful host who was a mine of information about what to see and do in Buenos Aires. We enjoyed interesting and informative discussions over a healthy breakfast each morning. Valentyn's advice about traveling from the the airport and using the buses and... More

It doesn't get any better than this: We chose B&B because we are tired of big hotels. And Valentyn's and Ada's wonderful B&B was just the right choice. Location: Smack in the centre. Both Plaza de Mayo and the quaint Defensa Street with its antique shops and the Sunday street market are, literally, just steps away. Comfort: Immaculate, very comfortable... More

Stayed here five nights in the beginning og April. Great B&B located in an old charming building one block from Plaza de Mayo. The apartment is newly renovated, with comfortable, spacious and clean rooms. Ada and Valentyn are very welcoming and were helpful with tips on what to do, restaurant recommendations and generel info on life in BA and Argentina.... More

We love finding unique places to stay and when we found Valentyn and Ada's bnb we were really intrigued. Set in the heart of BA in an an amazing location (3 mins walk from Casa Rosada) the place offers something really intimate in what could be a very hectic city. The bnb itself is immaculate - the bedrooms large, very... More

We stayed five nights with Ada and Valentyn. They are both so gracious and helpful. The rooms are immaculate, the breakfast plentiful with home made bread, and the location is very central--the San Telmo Sunday market is just steps from the door. But it is truly the hosts who make this such a great place to stay. Valentyn helped us... More

If you prefer a stylish and relaxed B&B right in the centre of Buenos Aires (without a TV and telephone in your room) and a very hospitable host, who prepares an exquisite breakfast with very tasteful homemade bread, then La Perla is the place for you. As it was for us during 6 days. We absolutely agree with all the... More

He was were very helpful, and quick to respond to our every need. The highlight was going with Ada and Valentyn to their Tango Club. It is in an outstanding location, within walking distance to many... More

A lovely bed and breakfast in the heart of Buenos Aires. I spent 4 nights with Ada and Valentyn in January after a lengthy and tiring trip in Mexico, and I enjoyed it very much. The house is a peace heaven, with very comfortable and nicely arranged rooms. The hosts go to great length to make your stay enjoyable, taking... More

Staying in Montserrat

Neighborhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighborhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
