We booked this place looking at the pics and reviews, please don't be fooled with this. This place was the worst we have seen in our travels, The day we checked in the temperature was close to 33C and almost 40C with the humid ex, The ladies at the reception did not even speak a single word of English. They... More

This "critic" come from a passenger that made a "no show", just one person appeared and told me in English that he would rather prefer to change his check in to January 2nd. 2016 (originally December 28, 2016) , since he has booked one room "Non Refundable" for a party of four I agreed to upgrade to two rooms at... This is a cozy, nice, clean and complete apartment in Buenos Aires, the building is safe, is close to museums, restaurants and bars. The service is good and the price you pay is excellent. Don't spend your money in a hotel, stay in this nice aparment.

The hotel is in a good location, close to the metro and some must see sights. It is also easy to access the hop on/hop off tourist bus. Although the location is on a very busy street, the apartment was well insulated from the noise (our apartment was facing the street). The room was comfortable but could do with a... More

Staying in Montserrat

Neighborhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighborhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
