- Location is great - facilities are not maintained, but clean - definitely they should not advertise this hotel as 4 stars, very deceiving - Value maybe right, I didn't check much This is very central to all the places you want to visit. Use the yellow biking system is free and works great as long as you know how... More

The receptionists are very kind.. This hotel is in a very old building that once had its peak. The lobby is very Beautiful, however, there is no bar with coffee or snacks for receiving a client or friend. The location of the hotel is very bad, I recommend booking a hotel across from Puerto Madero, where the neighborhood is newer... More

The hotel is in San Telmo one block from Puerto Madero. The service is ok, nothing like a fancy boutique hotel. It has a good value. The hotel has a boutique touch but the renovation is getting worn off. I've got an small room with a good bath. The wi-fi inside the room sucks, and you have to keep signing... More

We were scheduled to stay here 1 night do to it's location and where we had to be early the next morning. We arrive late at night only to be told that they overbooked and had to move us to one of their other hotels. I've never even ever checked into a hotel to be told I didn't have a... More

The hotel is in an excellent location. Although not old (probably recently renewed), the towels and bad sheets are not in a good state. Breakfast and breakfast room are not really good: the air conditioner is not enough to fresh the room.

I've made a reservation for this hotel based on its location. But, when I arrived there, the staff told me that my reservation has been "wrongly" done in another hotel of their chain (Palacio San Telmo) due to a "problem in their reservation system". Interesting enough that the reservations of 2 other members of my team were also done wrongly.... More

Hotel looks nice on the fotos. but it old, many things are broken or shabby. Room was small. there was no table, no hair-drier, bathrobe, make-up mirro. Pore disain. Wardrap was awful and smelt mustiness. Staff is unproffecional. they can't order a taxi for time, or make reservation. No room-services are avalible. I can't imagine. how they got 4 stars.

I stayed in a room at the second floor Bedroom does not have any desk; this is not a hotel for business workers Window let the sound from the street in as if you are living in the street; do not forget the ear plugs! Towels are so worn out that there are several holes in it but they are... More

Staying in Montserrat

Neighborhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighborhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
