Icaro Suites is centrally located, has great staff, a good breakfast at a reasonable price. It is well served by excellent restaurants, good food stores, bakeries, inexpensive laundries and other services.

The purpose of this visit was purely pleasure. This included dancing tango, shopping and spending time with friends. The Hotel is ideally situated for walking to several different milongas, numerous restaurants and close access to the subte. The nightly tariff included breakfast, which set us up for the day. The beds and pillows were really comfortable! Maid service was quick... More

Believe Trip Advisor; it’s true what you read. I spent hours searching websites for the best hotel in terms of price, location, quality of service, room size, quality of bed, bathroom, shower, breakfast, decor, staff kindness, and an inclusive guest policy, and came up with Icaro Suites, trusting the reviews on Trip Advisor and the advice of an Argentine friend... Excellent hotel, and excellent value if booked in advance. Saved our trip when we needed to find a hotel on the fly, after power went out for 3 days straight at the apartment we originally rented. The hot plates are unfortunately disabled, but there is still a full complement of culinary utensils and large fridge and microwave. The rooms are... More

Internet worked perfect and is for free, the breakfast which is included in the room fee was absolutely ok. Most of the city center attractions are in walking distance and... More

I wanted a ressonably priced, good value hotel for 1 night. I chose the Icaro on the basis of other Tripadvisor reviews and was not disappointed. It's in a handy street, Montevideo, 2 blocks off the Av de Mayo and near Callao - mid way between downtown and Recoleta. The bed was big and the room spacious, including a small... More
