The place is incredible beautiful. And old mansion in Recoleta neighborhood one of the most nicest here. The atention of all the people who works here is amazing. The Algodón Wines are exquisite! I recomend the Malbec/Bonarda blend.

I don't write many reviews but given the spectacular service, I feel obliged to. Not only are the rooms and amenities great, but the service was absolutely top-notch -- you won't find a more proactive or helpful staff. I was in town with my brother, but would be a great stay for couples as well. Good central location in Recoleta... More

We had an amazing stay at the Algodon Mansion. Right from the start we were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. It is a small ten room property and everyone knows your name, what your preferences are, where you went during the day and how to make you feel most comfortable. The food and beverage team are fantastic, always... More

Quiet place without street noises. Cozy- Beds are comfortable. Shower is superb- The restaurant is nice the empanadas are excellent - room service available - good breakfast- Maybe the entrance is not well lit , and has no place to park the car for descending passangers and luggage-

We were treated like adored family members by the incredibly friendly & accommodating staff. The hotel is intimate & plush, clean & modern, and is in a great location in B. A. The rooms are large, bright and very nicely furnished. My wife loved the fabrics & marble. Bathrooms are enormous and lavish with a great shower. The delicious breakfasts... More

The location of the Algodon Mansion couldn't have been better. Recoletta is a beautiful area of the city: it has tree lined streets, cafes, and restaurants. It is a welcomed respite from busy BA and an easy taxi ride to Palermo and other districts. The hotel is small , the rooms lovely (mattresses are very comfortable and very large), and... More

In the "Beverly Hills" district of Buenos Aires... Recoleta. Beautiful French Style Architecture for the mansion and most of this luxury district. Algodon Mansion is with butler style service, very nice rooms, and the bathrooms are HUGE! Restaurant and their own wines.

For our second stop in BA, we stayed at Algodon Mansion, which is another Relais & Chateaux hotel and was very good. The service from the lady on Reception, Camilla, and her male colleague (Leonardo perhaps?) was very personal. Camilla made a huge effort on our first evening to book some good restaurants for us and we really appreciated both... More

    Staying in Retiro

    Neighborhood Profile
    Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighborhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
