The hotel is overpriced for what it is. I found my room to be loud. The hotel staff was average, not overly helpful or friendly. I tried contacting the hotel 5 times, both over email and phone prior to my stay in an attempt to make a reservation with them directly and get free breakfast. I had no luck in... More

Booking .com advertised, ¨breakfast included¨... not so! Several guests complained about the misleading advertising. Who´s fault is it?... The front desk staff seem to think that it is Booking.com. For the amount that they charge, (dollars) one would think that breakfast would be included. Good location, but nothing special about the hotel. Look further!

we spend four nights at this nice hotel. Great location. The personal at the front desk was very friendly, excellent breakfast buffet. The rooms small but with minibar and safe box. Bathroom ok (they should have better quality towels) We will be back!

Arrived at this hotel around midnight and check-in was quick. After being travelling for the last 17 hours, I didn't bother to check anything and just fell into bed. The day after, however, I noticed the A/C-unit dripping water onto the carpet. Bedsheets were not clean and the place looks generally old. Scuff marks on furniture shows this place needs... More

A Few blocks from busy Santa Fe street with all the shops and restaurants. Downstairs, a simple check in desk and the breakfast restaurant. 2 small elevators to small rooms that have everything you want and perfectly clean. Small fridge and bar items. Good bed and chairs and bathroom. Breakfast downstairs has everything you may want and a cook for... More

Location: great. Room: good size, good enough beds, good shower; but it was not at all lighty as in official pictures - it was really dark (walls in black and dark purple); had little ventilation (the window didn't open much), was a bit noisy and the towels were dreadful: old, frayed and looking dirty. Staff: kind and helpful, though it... More

I have been travelling for three months, through Cuba, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Uruguay and Argentina. I've stayed in a range of budget and Boutique hotels and this place is by far the worst. No in room Internet unless you pay $9USD per day or $3USD an hour and it isn't great. The rooms are medievally dark, without ample light to... More

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
