I stayed for 3 nights when I arrived in BA from Australia, and it was a great place to stay. I walked everywhere I wanted to go to and I felt secure and safe. The rooms are simple but clean, the maid comes every day. The bed was very comfortable. I booked directly, and I asked for and was given... More

Located in a nice central area this hotel is great value for money. Our room was basic but clean and tidy. As it was in the basement there was no window (well there was one but it was a long narrow high window that adjoined the smokers courtyard - not exactly functional!). Because of the position of our room it... More

A great experience in Buenos Aires: Very good location, ideal to get the most of Buenos Aires without travelling to much. Friendly and attentive staff, ready to help you out with any request. And the building deserves a description: a fine example of XIX century architecture, refurnished and designed with great attention to detail. Overall: a lovely place, run by helpful... More

If you're looking for a small "hotel" and don't require the services of a spa, gym, concierge, beauty salon. gourmet restaurant, you will probably consider this one. Unfortunately, there are many pitfalls. First of all, there are significant differences between rooms, even at a particular grade level. If you book directly you will pay more. If you book through an... More

Dear guest, First of all we would like to give your thanks for telling us how was your experience at our hotel, we really appreciate your review. Regarding to your comments, the reason why you found "differences between rooms" is that Le Vitral Baires has only 9 rooms which are divided into four distinct categories: Standard, Superior, Superior Triple and... We stayed at the hotel for three nights on two separate occasions while visiting Argentina. The location is great for exploring downtown Buenos Aires -- less than two blocks from Corrientes and an easy walk to several subway lines. The staff was very helpful with recommendations, directions, arranging airport transportation, luggage storage, etc. This is a small hotel, with about... More

I found this hotel through hostel and backpackers' sites. And now I understand why: although it tries to pose as a boutique hotel, it is in fact a very small hotel with a very small structure. That is not a negative point in my opinion, and actually helps you get a more personal attention from the employees. Yamilla, Joaquim, German,... More

Stayed here for 7 nights and thought at the end of it , that it was a good experience. I had to work at it though. To start with, when booking it, pay the rate quoted on booking.com, don't pay their website rate. It's much cheaper. Also they had a promotion, for 7 nights you got a free city tour,... More

Though not everything was perfect, our experience at Vitral Baires was great! We stayed there 7 nights in total (5 nights before going to Patagonia and 2 more before coming back home). Te service was very good, specially by Germán who was always willing to solve our questions and help us with everythig. It's a small boutique hotel, very well... More

Photos on hotel site are misleading. Small, grim looking place. No elevator. Narrow stairs. You got to carry your luggage upstairs by yourself. Disappointing and frustrating.

Vitral Baires Petit Hotel is a very good place to stay in Buenos Aires. Very well located, at Congreso, close to some metro stations (Subte) and some tourist attractions, like Cafe Tortoni. For those who like to walk, it's easy to go to some places by foot, like San Telmo. For those who don't have much time for walking, there's... More
