My wife, father and I stayed here while in Buenos Aires last week. The rate and location were great but it does come at a cost. The bathrooms are worse than European ones (extremely small even for one person), the street noise is horrible and the walls of the hotel are paper thin that you can hear people talking in... More

We stayed there for 2 weeks, The place is nice, clean and tidy. there are only 4 rooms per floor, which makes it quite cozy. The stuff is extremely friendly. For the price that we paid, it seemed too good to be true deal. And it turned out to be better than expected. It's not close to luxury, but the... More

Front staff is said to speak english. That was not the case this time... My GF is from here but I tried to practice my spanish. Slowly asking things and got rapid fire back without using body language nor eye contact. Again and again and at a low stress level. Not the best start. I had asked for a quiet... More

Nice, clean hotel one block from a main street and the metro (Subte). Rooms were comfortable and they provided a good breakfast. They stored our bags when we did a three-day excursion to Iguazu Falls. All the reception people were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a fairly quiet side street; we felt safe walking to and from... More

This hotel was friendly and clean with great service. Requests were handled promptly. There are many shops, cafes and restaurants all within easy walking distance. Nothing fancy but would certainly stay there again.

I found the Ker Belgrano Hotel to be a nice and pleasant place to stay while in Buenos Aires. Recently, I visited in a business relate trip, and the location is very good, safe to walk around not too late at night and near various restaurants and little cafes.

This is a very comfortable hotel located in the area of Belgrano at the last Subte stop on the D line (Congreso de Tucuman). It was a great location for the meetings I had but was conveniently located 5 minutes' walk from the Subte, which went directly to the Cathedral at Plaza de Mayo. The staff were very friendly and... I stayed two nights in this hotel in August 2011. The hotel is clean, has free wi-fi and free breakfast each morning. Hotel is located outside of the city center, but the hotel is near a subway stop. It takes about 15 minutes on the subway to reach the city center, and is fairly simple to navigate. Folks at the... More

We stayed one night in the Ker Belgrano on the 7th Floor after the long flight south from the US. It's a small, utilitarian, almost spartan place with a business hotel feel. But the beds were firm and everything worked so we booked it for another night a few days later. When doing so, we made a special point of... More

Staying in Belgrano

Neighborhood Profile
Belgrano
As one of the main commercial hubs of Buenos Aires, Belgrano has something for everyone. The myriad of shop windows in Cabildo Ave. will draw you in, but it is Chinatown — an area of no more than two square blocks — which will keep you hooked. Crowned by an ornate arch marking its entrance and filled with small stores packed to the brim, it is a place where color and scent emanate from every corner, particularly during the Chinese New Year when they spill over to surrounding areas. But if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, the residential quarter of Belgrano is the perfect destination. This section of town features some of the most magnificent mansions in the city, spread out on cobbled streets lined by tall, majestic trees: a true feast for the eyes.
