We stayed here for a 3-day trip in Bueños Aires. From the minute we entered the homely atmosphere we got a good vibe from the hotel staff. Everyone at the front desk was extremely helpful and pleasant. Whether we asked for recommendations to local restaurants, to heat something up in their microwave or for a plastic fork. We also needed... More

We stayed there 2 nights. The service was okay, upon arrival our receptionist was not friendly at all, but later on other folks at the front desk did help store our luggage and helped us call a cab to the airport. The main issue is that the sheets-&-linens-&-towels were very dirty. The bed sheets had dried stains on them, and... More

We actually only spent a few hours in this hotel (more than enough) as we had a REALLY early flight to catch. On arrival the receptionist throws you your keys and a couple of remote controls through some glass screen I assume for his protection (never fills you with confidence). The room was quite old, and the bathroom tiny. The... More

The A & B is a great little hotel with an excellent location. The rooms are various sizes with varying amenities and prices. Since we usually stay a couple of weeks, we have always been very happy to have a more spacious room. All have refrigerators and excellent air conditioning. Breakfast has drinks of your choice with excellent coffee, fresh... More

Staying in San Nicolas

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub and migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.
