Lovely exquisitely furnished and presented house in the lovely neighborhood of Palermo. We stayed 4 nights when we arrived Buenos Aires and 1 night at the end of our trip. The owner makes you very welcome and ensured we felt at home. The rooms are beautifully appointed with en suite bathrooms. Breakfast is in the secluded garden. All in all... More

After a three weeks cruise in South America and Antarctica I spent four days in Buenos Aires (one of my favorite towns in the world). I found this beautiful boutique guest house on TripAdvisor and fell in love with it. It is located in a quiet street of the trendy neighborhood of Palermo, where your find a lot of restaurants,... We found the Cabrera Garden Boutique Guest House on Trip Advisor and, as usual, we were not disappointed. Robert had arranged for us to be picked up from our Holland America ship when it arrived in Buenos Aires. We were whisked to the Cabrera Guest House and greeted by Robert who was warm and welcoming. We loved the Santa Rita... More

Stayed with Robert, Norman and Tina Turner(the parrot) during October of 2013. The place was fantastic. It is in a great location in the Palermo neighborhood near many bars and restaurants. The building itself had 3 great rooms and were adding a fourth. They have a very quiet secluded sanctuary in the middle of a thriving metropolis. The owners were... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in total, 2 nights either side of a trip to the atacama desert and la puna region, which were amazing. This boutique hotel is wonderful, a beautiful house in Palermo Hollywood district near lots of cafes and restaurants. We stayed in the lovely Santa Rita suite which was like an apartment, so relaxing and beautifully... More

Our experience staying at Cabrera Gardens in January was awesome! Robert was a perfect host - ready to greet us when we arrived with treats and helping us to plan our few days in Buenos Aires. The room and bathroom were beautiful - we especially enjoyed relaxing by the pool in the courtyard in the hot afternoons. The breakfasts were... More

After a long and adventurous three weeks in Patagonia and Salta, we arrived back in Buenos Aires for our last night of the holiday at Cabrera Garden Boutique Guest House. I would thoroughly recommend this spot for anybody looking for wonderful hospitality, beautiful design and a very sophisticated environment. Quite simply, this is one of the most elegant buildings I... More

I travelled to Argentina for the first time this past January 2015. I was nervous about traveling alone, but felt right at home upon arrival at Cabrera Garden. From the get go Robert was very prompt and responsive when making reservations. He also arranged a pick up from the airport directly to the guest house (well worth the $45). I... More

Staying at Cabrera Garden is hard to explain as you really have to live this experience to fully appreciate this little hidden " heaven " ! Getting there , you will never guess what is behind the unmarked black door ... then you enter a lovely courtyard where Robert will welcome you as well as his Parrots and their palette... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
