Very confortable apartment, well located, good acomodations ( bed, bathdroom), and very regardful staff. I certainly recommend for couples and small families. The WiFi need to be im´proved, becuse sometimes need to be reset by te front desk person. Another issue is the cleaning ( you have to request to...), otherwise is not cleaned.

I visited Buenos aires for a few days and stayed at Las Piedras, its a simple place with very helpful staff, located in the heart of san telmo, it's a very nice way to see an older side of the city and to walk arround. There is not much for breakfast but enough to get your day started, or you... More

I spent a week here while attending the Congresso Internationale de Tango Argentino. I chose this hotel because it was recommended by a friend, was next door to the venue, and had good prices. Overall the hotel met expectations, but here are some pros and cons to consider: Pros: - Rooms are quite nice, with spacious downstairs - kitchenette, table,... More

The hotel is well presented and modern and the rooms are huge. The staff are efficient and very courteous. Not in your face but there when needed. Anything they could do to help they did. Excellent. Definitely recommended.

This place lived up to the pictures. The apartment was very clean, a gorgeous loft located in the heart of San Telmo. It was very easy to walk down Estados Unidos to the Sunday street fair on Defensa, or to reach the many restaurants and cafes in San Telmo. At the same time, it was only two blocks from the... More

The apartment is modern, spacious and clean. The service is excellent 24 he reception all speak English. My only complaints are that there is no frying pan and I don't like having to have someone unlock the front door every time I go in or out.

This apartment is really nice. It has two bathrooms and a balcony big enough for two people. Staff are very helpful. The area is not as buzzing as for instance Palermo, but in BA it's very easy to get around in taxis. I would reccomend this place.

Our loft apartment provided everything that we needed for a great week-long stay in Buenos Aires. 2 bathrooms, one on each level, and 2 twin beds in the upstairs plus the double hide-a-bed in the living room were perfect for us. The kitchen was well equipped and even had a juicer that we made good use of by buying fresh... More

Our room was very clean and comfortable with lots of natural light and facing Piedras street. The included breakfast was convenient and very good. The breakfast area opened to a beautiful terrace where we enjoyed the morning sun. Wi-Fi worked well. The hotel is in the corner of Piedras and Estados Unidos streets within walking distance of the main attractions... More

I stayed 15 days in 2 separate weeks with Pideras suites. The appartments are clean, modern and the beds very comfortable, the kitchens could use some more and better equipment , but most apartment hotels could and this had the best equipment of any I had stayed in on this trip to South America. First week I stayed in 2D,... More

Staying in San Telmo

Neighborhood Profile
San Telmo
Characterized by cobblestones and narrow streets, San Telmo is defined by the tango, the dance that made Buenos Aires world-famous. Tango is a fusion of many different cultures: a true child of immigration, much like the city itself. Nowadays, it comes alive after dark in the milongas (dance parties) attended by both locals and visitors alike, who dance until the wee hours of the morning. During the day, the antique shops and classic cafés and bars around Plaza Dorrego dominate the scene. The emblematic Bar Plaza Dorrego, with its green awnings, checkered tile floors, and wooden interiors, takes you back in time the moment you step inside. For true porteño traditions, San Telmo is the place to be.
