We received a very warm welcome, despite out lack of ability to speak and understand Spanish, at this delightful small hotel getting to know the owners and family during our 4-night stay. Everything matched the descriptions we had read on TA and elsewhere; the unique and pleasant design of the rooms welcomed, our room and the hotel in general were... More

Sissi Haz is an adorable hotel in a swank area of Palermo. The hosts are very gracious. Even though their English was limited, they were totally able to help us with anything we needed. Breakfast was standard and adequate. The wireless was strong. It is easy to walk to restaurants, shopping and the metro. You’ll love the looks of both... More

We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our stay at this well located Palermo hotel. the rooms are lovely, beds comfortable and decor interesting and quirky and the wifi good. The breakfasts are not so interesting but OK (though the coffee was awful! - fortunately there are plenty of places in Palermo to get better coffee). Staff and friendly and welcoming,... More

Clean and spacious rooms on a perfect location. The almost no English speaking staff is very friendly, they try to help with everything. Fresh huevos are offered with breakfast. It is a very good and safe place to stay in Buenos Aires.

In the leafy and trendy neighborhood of Palermo, Soho, this small, quiet family-run Buenos Aires hotel is conveniently close to shops, cafes, and restaurants. We (and the other couple we traveled with) were pleased with our spacious rooms (designed, we learned, by the co-owner architect)and appreciated the comfortable beds. Staff (many are family members) were delightful and helpful. It felt... More

We found this little gem in Buenos Aires, when looking for something just a little different from the normal "name" hotels. It is located in the Palermo Soho area which is about a 20 minute ride into the city centre by taxi at around $60 - 80 ar, traffic dependent. The room we had (101), was cosy, air conditioned with... If you plan on staying in Palermo Soho, this is the perfect location. It is right in the centre of all the action. The hotel is more reasonable than other options and this is possibly because the design is perhaps not as contemporary as other choices. That's not to say it's not designed because it is but just in a... More

We stayed here for five night and couldn't recommend it more. The staff were accommodating and very friendly. They went out if their way to help with tips for the area and accommodate dietary needs. The rooms were comfortable and quiet and the WIFI was strong the whole time. Most importantly it was so secure and safe. Highly recommend.

We stayed here 3 nights and had earlier stayed in Boedo, a completely different neighbourhood. They were both great and we liked the variations between the 2. Sissi Haz is an excellent spot in the gorgeous suburb of Palermo Soho. There are lots of great restaurants nearby and we always felt completely safe walking around or home at night. Our... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
