This was a little hidden gem in Palermo district that was well managed with a friendly staff. The breakfast offerings and service were excellent and felt like home. The spa and sauna were definitely a plus after a long day of sightseeing. Kudos to the wonderful staff who went out of their way to help!

A bit off the beaten track, this art-deco style house is a welcoming boutique hotel in the heart of the Palermo Viejo district of Buenos Aires. The staff is truly attentive and seem happy to do what they do. Breakfast is good, with some fresh fruit and choice of omelets, poached eggs on order. Coffee is available for free the... More

We stayed at the Hotel Duque in June. We liked the hotel's location and the hotel itself was very nice indeed. What really stood out at the hotel was the helpfulness of the staff. In particular Cindy helped us out after a slightly negative travelling experience and really went out of her way. We really appreciated it.

Our stay at Duque Hotel was great, we had a very good time and was part of our excellent trip to BS. The personnel was very nice and helpful, they gave us good tips of places close to the hotel and help us book the tango show the first night. The breakfast was very good, the "media lunas" were delicious... More

Our family ( 4 of us) stayed at Duque Hotel for 3 nights in July, 2015. Hotel is located in the Palermo district which is a prime neighborhood in Buenos Aires. It is about 45 minute Taxi ride from the international airport (EZE). If you like food & wine, there's plenty of great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.... More

I recently completed a five night stay at the Duque Boutique Hotel, a lovely establishment located close to the prime sights, restaurants, and shopping in the Palermo neighborhood. With its personalized service and quiet, relaxing atmosphere, the hotel is a very good choice for a travel seeking a quiet respite from the Buenos Aires nightlife. I would not hesitate to... More

great location in Polermo and wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. The room itself was a bit small (compared to others we had visited recently) and the bathroom was a bit cramped and basic. We weren't sure if it was 'trendy retro' or just quirky. Either way, not quite to our taste. We were made welcome and felt comfortable just not... More

We stayed at the Duque Hotel in May for part of our Honeymoon. The hotel was probably the most comfortable of our tour of South America. The rooms were clean of a decent size and very comfortable. I stayed at the Duque Hotel in mid-May 2015 for 10 days. This is a boutique hotel with around 14 rooms. The staff at the Duque Hotel are beyond exceptional. Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
