- My wife and I spent 4 nights in the Duque in mid-May. The hotel is located ~10 minute walk from the restaurants/shops of Palermo SoHo – not the best location (and it gets pretty quiet/dark at night), but also not too far. It is also ~15 min from the closest subway stop (Green Line). We did find ourselves spending... More

The location is outstanding and he is a picky Argentinian (I am Australian). Is surprised him for his bday and the... More

Duque Hotel was perfect. Unfortuantely we only had a short trip to BA as I would have loved to be able to have stayed longer at this hotel, for more delicious breakfasts and to take advantage of using the pool and spa and everything they have there! It is a nice size which is not too big, so the reception... More

My husband and I spent a total of fifteen days at the Duque Hotel. We had reviewed many hotels before deciding to stay here. it was important to stay at a small, quiet place near the best restaurants. Also important was quick access to the subte. In every respect the Duque met and exceeded our needs. Fernando, Raquel, and Cindy... More

Nice boutique hotel in Palermo Buenos Aires. The rooms are OK size wise, comfortable bed. Our room didn't have a view, not sure if any of the rooms have a 'view' - a couple face the garden out the back or the street at the front. Good location, less than 5 minute walk to bars and shops in Palermo. Would... More

The hotel's staff is exceptional! They have a positive, helpful attitude. The staff patiently explained directions for me everyday. They also signed me up for an excellent tango show. The hotel is just a few blocks from a subway stop, which I used everyday. And there is an excellent steak house just 2 blocks from the hotel. I stayed in... More

The hotel is well located in Palermo Soho, which is a good and safe area of Buenos Aires, with many restaurants in the surroundings. Rooms are OK and clean. Very nice spa with hot-tub, sauna, and swimming pool outside. Very good breakfast, although it starts a bit late if you are there for business. But what really impressed us was... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Duque Hotel! The hotel is a quiet, elegant and welcoming sanctuary in the midst of a bustling city. Its location in the Palermo neighborhood of BA offers convenient access to many tourist attractions and is walking distance to many great restaurants. We appreciated the delicious breakfasts and the spa faculties, but most importantly,... More

Dear Sabrina C, What an honor to be called a sanctuary. The whole team is very pleased with your kind review. We really enjoy exchanging our knowledge and serving our guests, but it certainly motivates us to keep up the good work whenever we have it recognized by a smiley guest. Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
