Only 14 rooms make this a comfortable homely hotel. Best parts are the tasteful furniture, lovely wooden floors, and the lounge area with all day coffee and cakes. I arrived early and wasn't able to check in, but was offered breakfast after I left my bags which was a very kind gesture. The rates are reasonable considering the amenities, and... More

The front desk is very helpful and really nice. Even the night shift guy is awesome. The location of the hotel is great and on a quiet street - my room was even street facing. It's also walking distance from a bunch of different bars and clubs so you don't have to spend a fortune on cab rides. I don't... More

My wife and I stayed at Duque for three nights. It reminded me of some of the boutique hotels that one can find on the Upper West Side/East Side in NYC, smaller/quaint but cute and cozy. The hotel is located in a historic building. It was clearly updated/remodeled inside. The decor, both in the common areas as well in the... More

We found Duque hotel charming and the young staff incredibly friendly and helpful. It is very conveniently situated for the Palermo 'Soho' district, the squares and shops a short walk away. Also it is only a fifteen minute taxi drive to the centre and Place Mayo. The hotel's name of a boutique hotel is a little ambitious as it is... More

I had such a fantastic stay at the Duque in April and May 2011 (see earlier reviews), that on my return to BA this year, I had no doubt at all about where I wanted to stay. The hotel's high standards remain just as high in 2012 as they were in 2011- nothing has changed and it felt like coming... More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in Feb '12 and enjoyed it very much. Ideally located in a safe area and just around the corner of trendy restaurants and boutique shops. Rooms are spacious, including flatscreens and iPod docks. We had a room on the streetside which was a bit noisy, so make sure to close the secondary... More

We had a very late arrival, and, since this is a bed and breakfast, we were not sure if they would have full service available 24 hours a day. When we emailed to let them know that we would not be arriving until well after 1 a.m., the response we got was: "This is your home. Your arrival time is... More

Me and my wife stayed for 4 nights (jan29-fev2 2012) at Duque. No question it is very good: rooms are complete, brand new and very clean. Spa has a small yet relaxing pool, jacuzzi and sauna. There is always free coffee and alfajores, the staff is really helpful and location is good (halfway subway Scalabrini Ortiz. However, based on previous... More

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your feedback on your stay with us. We're really sorry about the minor problems you experienced but we hope that didn't tarnish the image you had of us. Regarding the internet issues, we tried to solve them; but since it was originated by the internet provider, this was unfortunately out of our hands.... More

We stayed at the Duque during January 2012 and can honestly say that the hotel and particularly the staff were excellent. We would not covsider staying anywhwere else for future visits to Buenos Aires. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and their enthusism was evident at all times. Another bonus is that it is only four blocks away... More
