My mother and I loved it! I've stayed in a lot of hotels, and the staff at the Duque is the friendliest I've ever experienced. Cindy, Eva, Ricardo, Juan, and Noah always greeted us with a smile and were happy to help us find our way in Buenos Aires. Also: their English is impeccable. We traveled around Argentina for two... A load of nice places to eat and markets to check out. Nice area but the hotel is a slice of paradise with the best hotel staff I have dealt with, and I deal with many around the world. All are friendly and very helpful. Rooms are great and very clean. Price is fantastic for the quality of the hotel.

All the staff at this lovely hotel were top notch. Friendly, efficient and welcomed us warmly from the beginning. Lovely hotel with a yummy continental breakfast. Great location! We enjoyed sitting poolside and using the spa services. Bikes are available to rent

After reading many reviews, we decided to stay at the Duque Hotel for our honeymoon and we were not disappointed! This charming boutique hotel was very conveniently located in Palermo Soho - so we were a few blocks from the main strip of restaurant and bars, as well as a few blocks to access the subway. Our room was a... More

Cannot say enough nice things about this hotel! The facilities were amazing, the hotel location is excellent and the service deserves so much more than five stars. The neighborhood is filled with restaurants, shops and bars, but we honestly found the best of all of them because of the amazing staff at the front desk, all of whom knew everything... More

This is just a great all around place to stay. Working from outside to in, we loved the neighborhood with great small restaurants as recommended by staff. Not a fancy neighborhood but a good safe neighborhood. The hotel is extremely well staffed and well operated. The rooms are contemporary and clean, clean, clean. We checked luggage for storage earlier in... More

Great room, great location, great price, amazing (and very friendly) service. Cannot imagine staying anywhere else! Particularly appreciated the front desk because neither my girlfriend nor I have even somewhat reasonable Spanish skills--they were always terrific.

Service was excellent, location was excellent and lovely breakfasts every morning, learning to speak a little Spanish to ask for the right type of eggs. The room is a little on the small side, but I don't go to cities to stay in hotels. Two blocks away and you find yourself wandering around a more "hipster" style neighbourhood. Lovely shopping,... Dear Peter M, Thank you very much for such a positive feedback! We're glad you enjoyed your stay and pretty much everything about us! We just recently added a menu with detailed options for our eggs and it seems to be working great with the girls from the kitchen! We hope you consider returning to Buenos Aires some other time!... We stayed here for one night before beginning a long trip to Patagonia and had a wonderful stay. Staff are very kind and eager to help with reservations, cabs, walking directions, etc. Rooms are cozy and well-outfitted (safe, TV, wi-fi, clean bathrooms w/ all toiletries, functional A/C). There's a nice breakfast parlor with a lady who makes eggs on demand... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
