First of all, the name of this apartment is misspelled in the listing. I've requested a correction from TripAdvisor and hopefully that will happen. It is Studio Pueyrredon at 1770 Av. Pueyrredon in the Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires. We spend 35 nights (in May and June) at Studio Pueyrredon and I cannot imagine a better place to stay (especially... More

I have used Temporary Apartments for 22 times since 2005 when I first came to Argentina. Their rental apartments are located in the barrio, Recoleta which is very upscale part of the city, You can easily walk to most of the sites to see or visit in Buenos Aires. Temporary apartamentos has a variety of options and at very good... More

I paid for a double superior room but, after having received confirmation that the room was available and having paid the stay, I was put in a double standard room for the first night. Then, after fighting a LOT, they changed me to a very dirty double superior. Towels were old rugs, and you cannot use the kitchen because there... More

We liked our apartment, and wished we had booked it for longer. I didn't discover apartments until most of my trip was booked. The price was good for three people, which is hard to find in BA. The Studio was spacious, clean and comfortable. It even had a small balcony where we sat and relaxed. It was nice to have... More

This studio apartment was just right for our week long stay in BA. I'll start with the negatives. I was able to connect to the wifi networks with the passwords given, but could not access the internet. This was not a problem as my laptop could connect via the DSL cable - but thought I would warn others. I did... More

I believe I can make an objective review of the Studio Puyrredon property because we stayed there for two months beginning this past January 10th, 2012. I saw a number of apartments and they were much the same. Certainly, the apartments are for the most part are fully equipped for a short or long term stay. The laundry facility, gym,... More

We arrived to apartment at 1.50pm. Security guard on ground floor phoned up to the staf who work for temporary apartments to alert them of our arrival. He was told check in time is 2pm.... Ok so we waited 10 minutes no big deal - so make sure you arrange your arrival to be for 2pm otherwise you will have... More

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
