Lovely hotel and staff, wonderful breakfast, and oh, the rooftop deck--I could move up there, it was so relaxing. Nice location, and walkable to the botanical gardens and lots of restaurants. We arrived late at night, so they let us postpone our complimentary glass of wine until the next evening, which Maximo brought to the rooftop deck for us to... More

Maria and rest of staff charming and totally helpful with recommendations, reservations, directions and anything else we requested. Rooms simple but classy and comfortable. Situated at the edge of Palermo Soho, this charming and beautiful little hotel is walking distance to many great restaurants and clubs. Also, it's just a short 10 minute walk to the Ortiz metro station, which will whiz you downtown. Housed in a beautiful mansion, the hotel has been renovated to perfection with modern amenities, period furniture, and tasteful decor.... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Magnolia Hotel for three nights (plus an additional half night) in February 2015. We stayed in a quaint room on the second floor in a room overlooking an internal courtyard. The Magnolia staff was very helpful during our entire stay (e.g., a welcome glass of wine that we could enjoy on the rooftop deck,... More

Four of us (2 couples) recently spent 3 nights at this terrific hotel. It's small, elegant, quiet, and in a great neighborhood. Everything was excellent - thanks to Maximo, Maria, and Alex. We would absolutely choose this hotel again!

After a week at an airbnb apartment, we transitioned to the Magnolia for our final two nights. They've done a nice job turning this old mansion into a quiet, attractive hotel. Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
