Super efficient and friendly staff made our 4 night stay feel as though we were coming home each time we returned to the hotel. We walked almost everywhere from this central San Telmo location, and taxis and buses run from round the corner. Huge choice at breakfast set us up for the day and the gym and pools (yes, there... The staff at this hotel were exceptionally helpful. As we are English speakers with no Spanish, this was exceedingly helpful - no charades necessary! It is very well located within a stone's throw from bars, foreign exchange, restaurants and shops in a Bohemian district of BA. The hotel lent us their underground pass for using the subway instead of phoning... More

Great proximity to the street fairs and markets as well as just a few blocks away from the river. Clean rooms with well appointed designs. Small but chic design. Staff are helpful though maybe not the most helpful for out of town tourists in terms of dining ideas. Great rooftop pool and lounge area. Breakfast included was delicious.

Stayed here over the Christmas period. Arrived late and had a very nice welcome from the man on reception, who also offered us glasses of wine. Room was very stylish - as was the hotel overall. Breakfast was great. The location is really good. Overall a good choice for BA.

There is nothing exciting about this hotel, but we thought it was reasonably priced based on other options we saw in BA. The location is the best part as it's right in San Telmo, which is very lively on the weekends and has a cool vibe. It's also a close taxi drive to Caminito, the port and plaza de Mayo.... More

I had a fantastic night at this beautiful and intriguing boutique hotel. My glam room at a window to the lovely roof terrace and pool (make sure to close the blinds if you plan on walking around naked). Nice little pool on the roof top, great for a little morning swim since it is heated. I was all alone up... More

Aweful! Tiny small shabby. Unfriendly unhelpful reception. Location - is good for restaurants, but as unfriendly receptionist just said on my question "what is nice in the area?" "Nothing. There is nothing in this area." Gym - no airco and there is heat and steam coming from miniscular pool. Washbasin in the bathroom - i do not know who installed... More

The hotel is located in the very cool area of San Telmo. The choice was offered to select my room. I've finally chosen a very chic, warm and cosy red room located on the ground floor. The pool is small but the solarium on the roof is nice, as well as the breakfast options. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good hotel for young people mainly because this hotel is located in a traditional and unconventional neighborhood where it is possible to enjoy the porteña nights. Internally you can count with a staff attentive and very helpful.

The hotel has a modern glass frontage in an otherwise standard sreet in San Telmo. The decor inside is modern, tasteful with a pool and sun area on the roof. The staff were friendly and helpful in recommending how to get around the city and the location is good for the southern side of the city. We enjoyed a tasty... More

Staying in San Telmo

Neighborhood Profile
San Telmo
Characterized by cobblestones and narrow streets, San Telmo is defined by the tango, the dance that made Buenos Aires world-famous. Tango is a fusion of many different cultures: a true child of immigration, much like the city itself. Nowadays, it comes alive after dark in the milongas (dance parties) attended by both locals and visitors alike, who dance until the wee hours of the morning. During the day, the antique shops and classic cafés and bars around Plaza Dorrego dominate the scene. The emblematic Bar Plaza Dorrego, with its green awnings, checkered tile floors, and wooden interiors, takes you back in time the moment you step inside. For true porteño traditions, San Telmo is the place to be.
