I am a travel journalist, who in the course of an average year stays in more than 50 hotels and was impressed with this hotel - so much we returned three times during our Argentinian trip. If you are looking for a hotel in the heart of tourist sites, this isn't the one, but if instead, you want somewhere with... More

Highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel. Every room is different but above all very clean. Lovely quiet hotel.. Walking distance to restaurants to eat out. Walking distance to subway with 15 minute ride to the centre of buenos aires. The staff in particular were so helpful and spoke fluent English and gave good directions and suggestions for how to get... More

The hotel is a small clean place with an out if the way location to the major attractions. The pros: Almost everyone working at the hotel speaks English and is helpful, the rooms are clean however noisy if you are a light sleeper. The arrangements for airport pickup were smooth making it nice to know you didn't have to count... More

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to comment on our hotel. Nevertheless, we would like to clarify certain aspects. Firstly, Raco is located in a safe and very calm area, which makes for a great night’s sleep, and is both perfect for families and solo travelers. Almagro neighborhood (located only 10 min away from Palermo, as well as... More

Very friendly staff with perfect english, gave good advice and directions about the city. Rooms are very comfortable. There are enough restaurants, cafes and parks within walking distance, alternatively the city centre is just 15 minutes on the subway, or a short taxi journey, very easy. The hotel is in a nice quiet location, very safe. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at this boutique hotel several times over the last 3 weeks, as we have popped in to Buenos Aires in between visits to other parts of the country. Our contact with the hotel started well before we arrived, as we asked for help in purchasing a book on Argentinian birds, only available in Argentina at this time.... More

I stayed at Hotel Raco on two occasions – once at the beginning of my six week trip through Argentina and Chile and then again at the end. Each time, I spent four nights at the hotel, which I would call more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel. It’s in a nice neighborhood and about three blocks (no... More

Very comfortable room; quiet large with a nice bathroom. Close to places to eat but a little far from the popular "tourist" sights. Reception was extremely helpful! Very close to subway but did not trust my Spanish to ride it.

Really a wonderful place and a super value! A very well done mix between old and modern architecture. The staff was just lovely, my room was amazing. You get the real feeling of a Buenos Aires neighborhood. I cannot stop gushing, I highly recommend this place.

As a tourist in Buenos Aires, you want a hotel with a good location to be able to see the sights, walk to good restaurants at night or visit trendy bars. Unfortunately, this is not Almagro. We cannot fault Hotel Boutique Raco. The staff are absolutely lovely - they could not be more attentive, more helpful or more welcoming. They... More

This place is a true gem. The staff speak English fluently. The dinner recommendation turned out to be one of the best meals we had in Argentina and the suggestions for sightseeing were spot on! Rooms are spacious, clean and very quiet. The location is 5 minutes from the subway stop in a very nice section of town. Got the... More
