I found Gecko when I was looking for BsAs Hostels, specifically in Palermo, and was impressed with the swift email communications. When I stayed at Gecko, the residents were very diverse, which if you're looking for like-minded travelers is helpful; but in my case, gave me a great group of people to chill with during my stay. i was in Gecko hostel during the month of December last year, customer service is great, personally. The hostel is colorful and spacious, with lots of terraces and air. We stayed in Gecko for about 9 days in all. The hostal staff (Juan and Juan Manuel, among others) are absolutely brilliant - really, really friendly, great with advice and great fun too.
