Of course it depends on what you are looking for but I found this hostel to be quiet and clean, which is just what I wanted. Yes, the pics were probably taken when the place was new and the place looks worse in low light. While I booked a bed in room of 6 beds, what I got was a... more

The area was great, the staff were REALLY lovely and friendly, but the actual hostel was a bit of a let down. The pictures in the brochure and online were stunning, when we arrived we were surprised at the difference between the pics and the reality! Kapake is an absolute gem of a hostel in the middle of the nicest barrio in Buenos Aires, Palermo.
