II really liked this hotel. It was unique; the rooms were about the coolest rooms I have stayed in. The hotel was decently located. It isn’t in the middle of the action, but it was a good 20 minute walk to get there, but a 20 minute walk is always nice in BA. It was also pretty close to the metro which helps. The area around the hotel is not a tourist area at all. That has its benefits and sometimes non-benefits. The restaurants are local and priced for the locals, you feel like you are a part of the city and not a tourist. On the other hand, you may miss some of the amenities that a central location may give you. This really depends on what you want.

This staff/ or the owner, was super friendly and helpful. I arrive late and tired and she offered to cook me dinner at no cost which was very nice!

I was in BA during the winter and swine flu scare so it was pretty empty.


All in all, I would definitely stay here again, but some place this... more
