Very reasonable pricing, large rooms, equipped with kitchenette, all rooms have balconies wich is good for smokers. Air conditionner works properly, staff is ready to help. There is though no food service and you can't buy anything at the reception.

I liked this place because the room is very big and bathroom too, BUT it situated in the center which i don´t think so much safe even in the evening. We went for breakfast near there and it was full of prostitutes which were talking about clients. First attendant in the reception was crabby, second one was better. Depend of... More

Decent, quiet, clean room with basic kitchenette a great shower and a comfortable bed. But, lighting could have been brighter and wifi faster. Rooftop breakfast was good with cereals, juices, breads, pastries, cheeses, meats and hot beverages which would have been made complete with some eggs but, according to management, not possible? A walk to stores, some decent restaurants, the... More

The outside of the building and the front footpath are not an inspiring sight. Dirty shower recess with mould to the extreme. Floor corners, as well as window corners and ledges throughout the room we dirty. Eating plates and utensils were dirty. The passageway corners are also being missed by the cleaner. The poor standard of cleanliness does reflect the... More

Fertilia Apartments made an excellent base for our four days exploring BA. It's location on the edge of Centro near Retiro was very good and felt safe. It made exploring then main central sights such as Plaza de Mayo, Theatre Colon, Ave 9 Julio etc very easy as they are all within easy walking distance. The area doesn't quite have... More

We stayed here on two occasions before and after we'd travelled to Patagonia. On each occasion, we were greeted and welcomed professionally before being allocated our room. The bed, bathroom and dining area is attractive and comfortable. Each day the cleaning staff comes to tidy and clean. As non Native Spanish speakers we had many questions of language/translation and staff... More

Staying in San Nicolas

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.
