We felt ourselves fortunate to have made the decision to stay at Jardin del Tango. The location, appointments in and comfort of the apartment, as well as the warmth and knowledge of the hostess were outstanding. Rachel Stephenson, the hostess and owner was exceptionally generous with her time and care of guests. We definitely intend to choose Jardin del Tango... More

I can't say enough about how great this place is. Rachel, the owner, helped us ahead of time get from the cruise ship to the apartment and arranged for a car to drive us to the airport at 8:45 PM as our plane left at midnight. She let us stay in the apartment until it was time to go to... More

Rachel is a very capable, helpful and meticulous host. Her house is extremely clean and neat. My mum who's a neat freak will give her a perfect score too! You will also get a lot of kind advice about the city. I am afraid of cats and was initially hesitant but her two cats are harmless and pretty. I am... More

The first thing that strikes you as you enter this apartment is that it is a real home not just some room in a bland hotel. Rachel, the owner, makes you feel comfortable right from the start offering time saving advise and tips and just being a really nice person to spend time with. The apartment is spacious, light and... We visited Buenos Aires as a family and wanted somewhere that was full of character to stay - not just a bland hotel which could have been anywhere in the world and we found it at Casa Jasmine. The Casa is well located - just a few minutes walk from two subway lines which makes most of the city accessible... More

Thanks for your very kind review - so glad you enjoyed your family stay at Casa Jasmin (and your return visit on the way back from Patagonia). I hope you arrived home safely. It would be great to see you again if you return to Argentina. Rachel More

We heard about Casa Jasmin from a friend of a friend of a friend. It was a clean, spacious apartment, with more than enough room for a family of four. Rachel, the host, is very nice and incredibly helpful in every respect -- she helped us figure out where to go and how to get there. She was very accommodating... More

Thanks for your very comprehensive review. We are glad you enjoyed all the little extras we provide, and appreciated our central location (and thanks for your kind words about the host too). Since you were the second guest to comment on the bathroom we delayed our response until our upgrade was complete - we are delighted to be able to... More

I was recommended this B&B by a good friend of mine who loved her experience. Even then, I was pleasantly surprised when I step foot in the apartment. It is a charming, cozy, clean and stylish argentine apartment with lots of sun, space & a great outdoor patio. Rachel, the host, was great and such an interesting person to chat... More

I spent 10 days in Casa Rosa, and was one of the best parts of being in Buenos Aires. Rachel is a lovely person, with interesting stories to tell and lot of suggestions of places to go. The Casa Rosa is located in a great place, near metro, buses, etc., but I made a lot of my sightseeing on foot.... More

We visited for 2 days and one week separated by a trip to Patagonia. The appartment is comfortable and nicely decorated, well located in BA. It has all convenience needed, living room, well equipped kitchen, which made our stay very enjoyable. As stated in other reviews, one may find the shared bathroom and phonic insulation not ideal, but we did... More

Being rather old, it wasn't quite as nice as expected. That said, if you're willing to live with a toilet that occasionally requires you to dump water in it in order to flush it and a 100 year-old elevator that takes a bit of getting used to, it's completely worth it. We had a wonderful stay there, the service was... More
