We heard about Casa Jasmin from a friend of a friend of a friend. It was a clean, spacious apartment, with more than enough room for a family of four. Rachel, the host, is very nice and incredibly helpful in every respect -- she helped us figure out where to go and how to get there. She was very accommodating... More

I was recommended this B&B by a good friend of mine who loved her experience. Even then, I was pleasantly surprised when I step foot in the apartment. It is a charming, cozy, clean and stylish argentine apartment with lots of sun, space & a great outdoor patio. Rachel, the host, was great and such an interesting person to chat... More

I spent 10 days in Casa Rosa, and was one of the best parts of being in Buenos Aires. Rachel is a lovely person, with interesting stories to tell and lot of suggestions of places to go. The Casa Rosa is located in a great place, near metro, buses, etc., but I made a lot of my sightseeing on foot.... More

We visited for 2 days and one week separated by a trip to Patagonia. The appartment is comfortable and nicely decorated, well located in BA. It has all convenience needed, living room, well equipped kitchen, which made our stay very enjoyable. As stated in other reviews, one may find the shared bathroom and phonic insulation not ideal, but we did... More

Being rather old, it wasn't quite as nice as expected. That said, if you're willing to live with a toilet that occasionally requires you to dump water in it in order to flush it and a 100 year-old elevator that takes a bit of getting used to, it's completely worth it. We had a wonderful stay there, the service was... More

My friend and I stayed here for 2 weeks. The apartment, Casa Jasmin, was nice and bright and very comfortable. We loved having our own bedrooms. This was a lovely luxury for a very reasonable price. There are cooking facilities but we chose to eat out most of the time. It has a great location in terms of getting around... More

My husband & I stayed here after a busy two weeks trekking around Peru & Boliva, so it was a real treat to stay in such a cozy apartment, with a real homely feel. Rachel is a very warm & extrememly helpful host, which made our stay so much smoother. During our stay we went to Iguazu for a few... More

I went with a friend from Oregon - I live in Illinois and our trip initially merged at DFW Airport in Texas - and we were at the Casa Jasmin location (on calle Pasteur) for only one night, but that was because only one night was available. Rachel is a very helpful and very hospitable and friendly hostess, and she... More

Thanks so much for your kind review - so many nice comments from such a shorts stay! We are always grateful when guests take the time to share their experience with us, and with people thinking of coming to stay in the future. Just a couple of comments on points in your review: - If I discussed the strange Argentine... More

After our 2011 African Safari, - South America was on our bucket list in search of Penguins. We just returned from a 13 day cruise on the HAL Zaandam from Santiago to Buenos Aires. I stayed in the Aviary Room in Casita Rosa - effectively the guest room in Rachel's house. The room was lovely, with its own aircon, which was greatly appreciated as BsAs was having a heatwave at the time. Six floors up, the apartment has a terrific large balcony where you can sit to enjoy the long evenings among the plants... More
