I stayed 8nights at the Puerto Limon. All the staff are extremely helpful especially Oskar (funniest guy). It is really clean and nice if you just want to relax. The common area has the comfiest couches!!! I will definitely be back. Great location

No guarantee of internet, doesnt work more than it does work. Because of the way this place is designed if there are people awake enjoying themselves you will not be able to sleep. The sheets/towels/pillows smell like old mouldy rags and the room smells like bleach?? It is not worth the price. Should come with an age warning; 21 and... More

Very friendly, English speaking and nice crowd.. I love the neighborhood, it is colorful and pretty safe, walking distance from the Antique fair and the weekly Tango dancing, Milonga. Easy access to the metro and buses, to great restaurants and and activities. The kitchen is not very clean, the atmosphere is lovely. Nice lounge and large back yard. The price... More

The front of the hostel currently is covered with scaffolding. The main area has a really cool feel and is like a renovated warehouse type situation. Our room was a fairly standard triple, however the toilet leaked out the back when flushed. We didn't notice this for ages because there was no water for hours after we checked in due... More

Hostel had a nice public area to drink or eat something. Staff was friendly and willing to help. However, our room (double, private bathroom) was not clean at all. Bathroom had fungus all over the place and even made a hole in the ceiling that leaked when it was raining. Breakfast was poor.

The hostel is basic but excellent value for money. Stayed there for 3 nights in a room with a private bathroom and it was rather cool. The staff is really helpfull and friendly, the location is 15 minutes walk to both center and puerto madero right in the heart of san telmo and the crowd was awsome. On the down... More

Booked a double room with built in bathroom. The bedding was dirty with someone's hair. We asked for this to be changed but the hostel seemed perplexed as to where the problem was. The new bedding was slightly better but still had hair stuck on the sheets. This might be a laundromat problem. The bigger concern was with the bathroom.... More

My travelling partner and I stayed at Puerto for 2 weeks while we were in Buenos Aires. It was our first stop on a 5 month trip around South America, and we couldn't have had a smoother start. Like all hostels we've found, it had one dodgy toilet. The service and hospitality were great, and have been, to this point,... More

Stayed in puerto limon for three weeks and got to meet great people, guests and staff, in this lovely hostel. The staff is very helpful, and they speak English. I will recommend this hostel to anyone who is going to Buenos Aires. Thank you for an amazing time!
