When planning my Argentina vacation I emailed a few of the top rated hotels and hostels. Very few were consistent in answering my questions. Elefante Rosa was the exception. Arriving at the Elefante Rosa was a welcome change after I had stayed in impersonal backpacker hostels elsewhere in Buenos Aires. This is an area of Buenos Aires where old men still meet every day to have their coffee and debate over politics.
