The staff were very helpful and the room was modern and very clean. The breakfast could be improved, though. The location is very good, it's right in the centre of the city (2min walk from the obelisk). Would recommend it!

It was a little bit noisy (cause the door was made of glass, and our room was in front of the elevator, so we heard everything that was going on outside). The suite is nice, comfortable. The bathroom is nice too. Breakfast was a little poor, but it was alright too. The hotel went out of power one day, and... More

The location of this hotel is very good, and on a few occasions, I had very good help from the staff, including the ability to remain in my room until 7PM on the checkout day. But that is the best I can say. The rooms varied from spacious to cramped and some did not even offer any windows. The beds... More

A few steps from Obelisc -heart of Buenos Aires- near of everything. This is an old fashioned but remodeled hotel, wekk located only 3 blocks from Catedral Station Subway. The rooms are comfortables At the lobby you can find a petit restaurant too, but the menú is limitated. Hope you have a good trip to BA.

The location is very good, just one block away from the Obelisc in downtown, from where you can start exploring the city. They have free wireless connection (so I reccommend you to take your own notebook with you as I did). Everything thing is clean in the hotel and the staff is kind.

Excellent location. Near to Subte (as is know the underground or tube). You go to anywhere easily. You're a one and half block the 9th July Avenue, on which you find a Carrefour Supermarket two or three blocks on left. It's near Diagonal Norte Avenue too, that takes you to Plaza de Mayo and Casa Rosada. By foot, you reach... More

Hotel D'artiste is called a "boutique hotel," whatever that means. My tour group stayed here for two nights, and the leader said that they wouldn't do it again The small lobby and common areas are adorned with murals on the walls, which, presumably reflect the entertainment clientele who once stayed there. Our room was very small, as was the attached... More

Staying in San Nicolas

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.
