Located in business area may not be ideal, but only minor drawback. Superb staff who cannot do enough for in this really CALM hotel, Rooms are superb but with minimal views. Breakfast is an excellent Brazilian style ( you cannot get tasty cheese or ham in any hotel ). WE really enjoyed our stay.

Casa Calma was a real surprise. A gem of a boutique hotel located in the bustling Retiro area of the city, just one block off of Avenida 9 de Julio. The staff were uniformly helpful, going so far as to educate us on the counterfeit money concerns of the city (with samples to compare). The courtyard room was very quiet... More

Wow. This is a tiny place with really big accommodations. With only two rooms per floor, space is not a problem. The Deluxe bedroom area is huge and fully equipped and the bath area is another step up in luxury. A huge jacuzzi tub for two, double vanities, shower with body sprays and attached dry sauna and finally a private... More

This is a fantastic boutique hotel. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and gave us detailed suggestions of what to do during our stay. The rooms are beautifully furnished with lovely eco furniture, and the spa works really well. Breakfast is very comprehensive and a good introduction to the kind of food you start your... More

This is what is called a boutique hotel. My husband and I have stayed in many hotels over the years but never a boutique hotel. What a pleasant stay! There are 9 floors and two units per floor. There is an elevator. The lobby has one wall full of live vines. I'm still wondering how they water those vines as... More

Had a wonderful stay at Casa Calma. From the moment of arrival on a busy Sunday morning, all the staff members were attentive and very helpful. The staff orients you to the city map and is always available for suggestions as to dining and tourist sites. The rooms are lovely and larger than I expected, and the hotel is quiet.... More

Casa Calma is a small, nicely appointed, beautifully run hotel. It's modern and up-to-date. There is a dining room for breakfast and snacks later in the day. The rooms are large, quiet and very private. Great bed and great shower! We received a lovely welcome and a walk-through of our room with a explanation of how everything worked. We had... More

We spent one night at Casa Calma upon our arrival in Buenos Aires, and regret that we didn't get to spend more time there. We booked in advance and received a nice welcome email about a week in advance of our stay asking if we had any questions and attaching a list of helpful suggestions of things to see and... More
