I go often to Buenos Aires and since the location is so good was hoping the hotel would be the same.It is very clean,but unfortunately decor is also in the clean style making it almost stark.Breakfast is poor ,though they try hard to make it seem friendly Rooms are small and bathroom is normal . We just returned from Argentina and spent 6 nights at the Casasur in a standard room. The room size was a little small but was decorated quite nicely. Excellent bed and a wonderful shower. Great Find ! The best value in expensive Recoleta. Staff is professional,friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.The decor is modern and chic. CasaSur is in THE SPOT in Buenos Aires, and at a great rate. Suprising service for a petite hotel. Outstanding rooms, try to get the Superior Room, with a beautiful balcony to Callao Avenue. We spent time at the Casasur which is a nice place but doesn't justify the price tag or the SLH affiliation. Frankly, if the hotel wasn't in the desirable Recoleta neighborhood, it probably wouldn't be SLH. The staff is thin and the hotel has only been in business for a few months.
