We (2) had three nights in this small, lovely hotel in the city-center. Everything is fantastic there: it is small, has an individual characteristic (Tango), the rooms are equipped modern and clean, but in an old-looking style with wifi functioning, breakfast was good, the service very friendly. Staying here, you could really imagine stepping outwards and meeting Evita Peiron. If... More

A hotel is basically a place to you sleep in comfort outside your home. In this sense Tanguero Hotel does not fulfill this basic function. Although well located, in the central part of Buenos Aires, and with a boutique style, very beautiful and well decorated, failed in its basic function and do not provides comfort and a relaxing night's sleep.... As we always do our best to find hotels with "soul" as boutique or small family hotels, we gave Tanguero a try based on recommendations from Trip Advisor and the fact that Tango is Buenos Aires. What a good choice! The place brings you back to the hey days in the beginning of the 20th century where the atmosphere, the... More

The moment you walk into the lobby, you´ll find yourself in another world and another time. I have to admit I thought I entered the wrong door and found myself in a tango show, but it really is the (theme) hotel. The person at the desk, who opened the door for me and did the check in, spoke excellent English... More

I stayed here for 1 night. The room was spacious and uniquely furnished. There wasn't any view though and the curtains kept shut which made the room a bit too dark. The service was average, not helping with luggage when checking out. Also 5 minutes before checking out they called in my room and reminding me I have to check... More

Stayed here twice in January. Big rooms, reasonable value, excellent breakfast (ask for an omelette), excellent location and not bad service. WIFI was a little bit iffy in the x01 rooms depending which side of the room you sat but no big deal really. Staff are very helpful if you ask (maybe seem a bit less if you don't... so... More

Beautiful hotel in the heart of BA. Rooms decorated in Tango style, comfortable bed, quiet and each room individual. Great staff who were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fine, nothing to complain about.

We have travelled in Argentina for five weeks and confidently say this is the best accommodation even compared with those of similar or higher price we have ever stayed at. Its central location is a big advantage first of all that major attractions, good restaurants and facilities tourists need are within walking distance. Apart from it, the rooms are very... More

This small boutique hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Buenos Aires and is like a step back in time from the moment one enters its glass-curtained doors into the comfortable lobby. Beautifully decorated throughout with all kinds of tango memorabilia and photos, the rooms include red velvet curtains and antique table phones. The staff is very helpful and... More

This hotel has large and spacious rooms. The breakfast is simple and has few choices. The decoration has Tango as theme but is not very creative. The localization is good in downtown. The service at reception was quite good with exception of the older guy. In the evenings one should be careful walking around.
