My husband and I stayed here in March for four days. The room was fine enough, basic needs met, but it was on the street side, which was still incredibly loud with the windows closed. No sound proofing, clearly. The safe didn't work, so we were given the key by Juan Miguel, who worked as the property manager. He was... More

The reception was terrible. The apartment do not have all the basic things to use the kitchen, and when we asked for it nobody could not help us. The DVD was not working, we ask 4 times to replace it and nobody did that. The cleaners did not the work as need to be do it. So , was a... More

I booked this place based on the photos on the internet. The place looked four stars in the photos but the reality was that it was more like a super budget, no frills caravan park cabin with worn out 60's furniture and a lumpy futon sofa bed. At least the bed was okay and the internet worked. The location was... More

The hotel is an appartment building, in a great location close to Recoleta and downtown B.A. The room was clean and has a full kitchen with stove, microwave and fridge. The bathroom is a little old but everything works well, the room I was in had a big window that overlooked the pool. The bed was pretty small I'm 6"... More

The room was really clean and organized, and it was very cozy. We felt like we were home. There was a bathtub, kitchen set, microwave oven wardrobe with hangers... Each detail made us feel really comfortable. Next time we go to Bs As, we will book the same hotel for sure (and the same room if it is possible!!).

I have stayed with the vacation rental company operated by Vicky and her brother Facundo since I started visiting Buenos Aires in 2005. From the start, they made me and my friends feel incredibly welcome, providing a complete rundown of the apartment amenities and also things to see and do in their amazing city. For each of my subsequent five... More

The room was spacious with great bed and bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen. I was there for 3 nights intending to see the sights of Buenos Aires. But I did very little of that because I had picked a bad case of food poisoning in Peru and was still quite sick. On checkout day I had an evening flight and... More

My fiance and I recently stayed here for 6 nights and it was amazing. The suites are excellent for the price and close to everything, including the subway. The host, Pilar, spent about 2 hours with us when we arrived to take us through everything and we had to sign a contract in Spanish but were taken through what it... More

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
