Ultra offers a great all around experience for the $100 price point. The location is ideal, the rooms are well kept, the breakfast buffet is solid and the hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. Most impressive is the stylish attention to detail in the lobby, bar, rooms and overall ambience. The hotel and its rooms are very well decorated and... More

An excellent well located boutique hotel. Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff (especially Adrian Illanes). Ideal for business or leisure trips. Good sized and comfortable rooms with excellent in room Wifi. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were there from 28.-30.11.14 for a weekend in Buenos Aires. We choose the hotel because of the neighborhood, which is really great. But the hotel itself is definitely not recommendable. We booked a Junior Suite (we checked the pictures and the details of that room on the hotel webpage), but what we got was only a poor standard room.... More

We've been using this hotel every year coming down to S America not because it's the best hotel in Palermo but because of the LOCATION! If you're expecting 5 stars hotel then this is NOT for you! Ultra feel very much like home. You have to treat it like a home... get your own towels at the pool, need anything... More

The Ultra Hotel is in a great location in Palermo. The entrance is very cool, there are a range of rooms to choose from, I would suggest the ones with a private balcony. We got a great deal online here. This hotel has great potential if a little more TLC was put into it, but none the less great value.

We've been in this Hotel 4 different times and we've never being disappointed. We definitely are coming back and we'll recommend to our friends! I love the style, atmosphere, the character, the service. The rooms have always been really clean. the staff is very helpful and went beyond their duties to assist us. One day we went to the theater... More

We pre-booked and paid Ultra Hotel to stay for 10 nights from the end of December 2014 to the beginning of January 2015 to enjoy our first experience of Buenos Aires, flying for more than 24 hours to get there. The rates are similar and in most cases more than the known 5 star hotels in Recoleta, but the Ultra... More

There is absolutely nothing good to say about this hotel: The rude totally unhelpful and unreliable reception service, the disheveled state of the supposedly superior rooms, the minuscule 'pool' facilities that included a ‘bar area’ replete with buckets, mops and direct access to scenic electrical generators are so far below standard, it defies belief. The images on the hotel's site... More

This is the place to be in Palermo especially for shopping or food. Nice location and very good service. However the rooms are getting old and the beds are not comfortable. Can be noisy as there is a bar in the back and the street in the front All in all a good location, good reception but the rooms are... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
