I had the pleasure of staying twice in The Glu Hotel during my March, 2011 South America travels. I was so impressed in my initial stay in early March, I re-booked for later that month! The overall service exceeded all expectations. Compared to other 4 to 5 star hotels across Australia, Asia and South America, The Glu has no equal.... More

WOW, The Glu is amazing! They have set a new standard for all others to strive for. Upon arrival on Friday night we enjoyed a complimentary glass of Malbec as we filled out our forms. They received my e-mail request and made us dinner reservations at Casa Cruz around the corner. Everyone who works here is super friendly and speaks... More

WOW! This hotel is amazing! I stayed here for 3 nights and was very impressed from the moment I walked through the door. The hotel features very modern décor throughout with comfortable lounges and tasteful colours. The front desk staff are extremely helpful and go out of their way to help you with day tours and organizing taxis and directions... More

My husband and I decided to stay at The Glu Hotel while in Buenos Aires last week. We had heard that Polarmo Soho was a trendy, upscale neighborhood and close to many of the fine restaurants. The Glu was a perfect choice for us! The hotel has very large rooms (we stayed in the Luxe Suite). It included a king... More

we really liked this hotel. Its small, with friendly service. The location is great. The rooms are clean and large. I really like the little microwave and fridge...you can buy empenadas at the bakery next door and heat them up right when you need them. There is good cable tv, and it is within walking distance of a tremendous amount... More

I really can't say enough about my experience at the Glu. I think in order to truly appreciate this place you have to have stqyed at other hotels in Palermo SOHO (as i did). I stayed here for 4 nights following a few nights at the Esplendor Palermo SOHO (which I thought was a pleasant stay until the GLU far... More

If you normally stay at The Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton in your global travels, you'd never see this hotel in your search for a Buenos Aires hotel. But if you crave the same level of service in an independent boutique hotel, this is the place you need to use as your B.A. headquarters. The staff is absolutely wonderful: warm,... More

This hotel is one of the friendliest we have ever stayed at, the level of service is superb. We stayed here for 3 nights before a cruise to Antarctica and on our return for the day where showers, refreshments were available. The rooms are well equipped, spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. We stayed in a room at the... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Glu Hotel for our first trip to Buenos Aires. Overall, it was an excellent stay. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, especially when it came to booking activities and restaurants. The hotel was also great about helping us find a nearby yoga studio and secure gym passes for a few workouts... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
