The hotel was great, but the service made the hotel. Alejandra was so friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived that we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. The rooms are spacious and nicely fitted out. Breakfast is good, although simple (continental). A nice touch is a the free laundry, which was well used as we'd just... More

Had a fantastic final night stay in Buenos Aires here. The Front of house team is A class, the rooms are superb, the service is wonderful! ( Still haven't stopped gushing over how fab everything and everyone here was!). Only bug bear though was that a Cab to Azeiza from here was 550 pesos while that from the street wa... More

My friend and I visited Buenos Aires last November to attend a 2 week tango seminar. We wanted a place that was close to the tango venues, comfortable, safe, and hopefully have a place where we could relax and after an intense day of class. The Glu totally fit the bill, the rooms are spacious, the rooftop hot tub was... More

Lovely hotel in a great location. The staff were all exceptionally nice and helpful. All spoke perfect English as well. The rooms were very nice, modern and clean. We were a family of four with college age kids. We had two rooms with a connecting balcony in the back. The "suites" we're really just spacious rooms with a sitting area... More

I agree with all of the reviews about the service, the girls/staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. However, the accommodation was not as expected. We booked their luxe suite, however it was just one room. We thought we were getting a suite, as in their posted first photo, but apparently this is their only true suite. (the Glu suite) It... Between work and personal travel, I’m on the road about 150 to 175 nights a year so I spend a lot of my life living in hotels all around the world. If all of the hotels I stayed in were like the Glu, I wouldn’t miss home so much. For work, I stay at the typical Westin, Hyatt, and Hilton... More

This is a property that understands and exemplifies outstanding customer service, from the minute that you walk through the doors. Upon arrival you are greeted by the friendly staff (who speak perfect English) and offered a beverage while you wait to check in. They will also provide you with a brief orientation session about the areas and items of interest,... More

My wife and I really, really enjoyed our stay at the Glu. The praise you read about in the reviews of this hotel are absolutely deserved. Even before we arrived, we were corresponding with them to set up a trip to a soccer game and they couldn't have been more helpful. Seriously... their recommendations for restaurants were excellent and the... More

Everything that has been said that is good is true. We had booked for 5 nights in March but had to rearrange our travel due to a General Strike on our leaving day. The staff here are wnderful and assisted with rebooking our flights and any thing else we required. The accomodation is first class , the breakfast is simple... More

We stayed at the Glu at the start and end of our month long trip to Argentina. The hotel is small with a very attentive staff. The rooms are spacious and quiet despite a busy location in Palermo. The breakfast is better than most and double cappuccinos are available! Look no further.

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
